what works ?

I started trading a forex mini account. Wanted to know what indicators and trading systems/methods has been proven to work and make money or close to it lol and any manuals on how to use them ?

Start learning the basics.
There's no correct answer to your question. You have to go through by yourself. This is a tough game.

It’s not about the indicators its more about the trader. It’s about discipline. Do one trade for the sake of trading or do one trade to make money. A lot of people trade for the sake of trading and not to make money. Forex is brutal and if this is your first time I suggest you trade on a demo account for a few months.

Actually, I think it's about both. What I found works best is the simplest possible technique coupled with a lot of personal development work to change the subconscious drivers that had been governing my behaviour.
