Good article,

but incomplete in my opinion because...

90% the new enterprises fails beyore the first year.
90% of a room class will fail in hit their objetives in life
90% of convicts would commit a crime again
90% of employees hates your job
90% of the mankind doesn´t have a good life
90% of the people hits the maximun point in life at the 30 years

90% repeats everywhere

Is like 90% is a fibonacci number of our world society

Incomplete, or self confirming? I'd say 90% of people fail at everything for the same reason - they don't take it seriously or bother to do the work that's required to be successful...

But, they say that 43.6% of all statistics are made up on the spot, so who knows.

HAHA!

Thanks, cubesteak. Excellent article. I cannot over empahsize the resources we have available here at TSD forum and its helpful members, that can get many traders out and off of that 90% statistic.

I love this occupation. It's FREEDOM train for me. It is the best PTO (portable trade occupation) I can think of. You can do it anywhere in the world (with available broadband access) at the best time that suits your trading style.

Yeah, I am doing it for the pips but most of all for my personal freedom. Southern California here I come (I will be back there 9/1, after almost 8 months being away)

Yeah, absolutely right.
You have your mind in the right place fxcruiser. My best wishes for you, and al others off course.
To all: I do not deserve luck to you, I deserve succes to you, two completely different things, but few understand the difference.

One year ago, when I quit from my job. Everybody look at me like some stranger or alien or crazy guy. They can´t understand why I´d choose to do this .
One year later, they are still trying to convince me about the safe of the job because what I´m doing is risky, or I´m stressed and bla bla bla.

Stressed me? Since I remember I started with stress the day when I received my first payment in my first job and completely relaxed the day of my first whitdrawal

Hi guys,
Nice to read these words from fellow traders. It's motivating me.
I was even quit from my college, it was one of the best college in my country. I know I may have a good live if I stay and follow the regular line, but what I want is freedom, and this job is fascinating me. This is my path. For me, luck is a gift for our smart and hardwork.

I wish the best for everyone..

You're such a lucky devil, Devil2000. This is not a job, it's an adventure, a journey. Let the FREEDOM bell rings on you. Best wishes and lots of success.

When I said luck and success I´m try to make a distinguish between winning the lottery or become millonarie trader.

But, one of my best friends, after I said him "you´re a lucky guy", told me one day: luck is when when preparation and opportunity are joined.
