Question Is it true that brokers block trades during the news??

Hello every one,

I've been learning and practicing FX on demo account for few months now, I've found out that the best profitable way to trade is to combine fundamental analysis with technical analysis, basically I watch for the news and then use any trading system to confirm the direction. Very recently I came across some posts that show that brokers block trading during the news which gives the meaning that all trades must be placed before the news release (kind of blindly to me), since all my experience is on demo this situation never happened with me, I set a maximum deviation from price to 3 pips in case the price is moving fast and that's it.

1- Doe’s demo accounts differ from live ones with respect to the above?
2- Which brokers would block trades and which ones would allow it?

Live traders your input is much appreciated and of a great help.

Kind Regards,
Porche

I'm using Real Trade's real account for about 2 weeks, I have no problem to trade during news. They accept very low margin, and that's good for newbie like me as I can limiting my learning cost. But their datafeed is not very good, northfinance has better datafeed, don't know about others. I'm using northfinance demo as charting, then put order on Real Trade, and I don't see any difference between real and demo account so far.
