A thread for real traders....

Hi guys,

Firstly thanks to everyone who contributes to this great forum :-)
I thought it may be interesting to get an insight into different styles of trading from those of you who are full time traders use to make profit (of course I don't expect a full description.) something like:

Timeframe: Eg: Swing, Long term, Scalp
Roughly how much do you make a month ?
Do you use EA's or manual methods ?
Location (eg: USA, etc..)
Markets traded: Eg: Forex, futures

Whilst there are many EA's on this great forum, finding one which lasts through all conditions is tough...
I have set up a poll too... thanks for your time. I think this could be a great shared experience for all

I've been interested in trading for a while, my main methods are:

TF: Primarily hourly/4hr charts
Method: 50% manual, 50% EA's
Markets: Forex and options
Location: Europe (UK)
Average monthly profit: 500-700 pips

If you could write if you trade full time or not that would be great, no demo traders please just those using live money. Whilst demo trading really helps build experience it is different trading with real money.

I am not yet a 100% full time trader but am getting there, it's more challenging when you start with a mini account, I have been interested in trading for years and spent a lot of time researching it, close to giving up so many times, but this forum has been very helpful, am hopefully on the path to profitable trading now.

Whilst there are many great posts on this forum about system we don't often discuss more general ideas such as this thread so thing that would be useful

I Scalp the GGP/USD traded manually and i do rather well

TF: Hourly (Although some are price action driven, not time dependent)
Method: 15% manual, 60% EA's, 25% signal service
Markets: Forex
Location: USA (West Coast)
Average monthly profit: Target is $2K+.
