- the use of iCustom - I see it being called multiple times. What order does it retuns the Ichimoku values?

- iCustom vs. iIchimoku. Is there a later version that uses iIchimoku?

- The buy/sell logic also brings in a 34 EMA. What does that have to do with ichimoku?

Overall, my backtesting is giving pretty crappy results for most curency pairs/most timeframes - even though I change the settings as recommended - and get modelling quality of 89-90%. Maybe I am doing something wrong or using the wrong EA.

Any further info on this?

Best - shaltrade
I'm also getting bad results

This Ichimoku5_1 EA should be improved. I tested 2 or 3 versions in elite section and stopped testing. As to Ichimoku indicator's EA so I am testing just KSRobot: it is profitable but this EA is doing 1 trade per 2 months only.

Where can I find KSRobot?

slight Taichi mod. - Flat zone:

if( MathAbs(((TaichiBuffer[i]-SignalBuffer[i])+(TaichiBuffer[i]-
SSignalBuffer[i])+(SignalBuffer[i]-SSignalBuffer[i]))/3)<Tenkan*Point)

FlatBuffer1[i]=SignalBuffer[i]+Kijun*Point;
FlatBuffer2[i]=SignalBuffer[i] -Kijun*Point;

Cronex_TaichiM_mtf and TDI_2_mtf
P.S. make sure indicators installed under correct name (not Cronex_TaichiM_mtf[1]; TDI_2_mtf[1], etc)

I tried to trade using standard Ichimoku indicator on D1 timeframe. As I don't have time to look at Metatrader during the whole day all the time so I used SignalSender indicator to send the signals for buy or sell to this calendar Forex-Tsd Calendar :: Calendars and SignalTrader EA from here http://www.forex-tsd.com/news-signal-trading/ to handle the orders (stop loss, trailing stop and take profit).
It is possible to trade using just one standard Ichimoku indicator on D1 timeframe. I had difficulties to trade GBPJPY, GBPCHF and EURJPY pairs but the other pairs are fine with no problem.

The only problem was that it takes long time to analyse the chart as Ichimoku indicator does not have any arrows or dots indicating sell/buy signals. The other problem is that when daily bar is closing so my local time is 2 am - 4 am (depends on the broker) so ...

I tried it for M5 timeframe as well:
- M5 timeframe: price is crossing pivot line or some fibo line confirming with PriceTrender (or PriceTrend) indicator by Kalenzo;
- with confirmation of Ichimoku on H4 timeframe (just to decide to trade today or not).
- exit on PriceTrender (or PriceTrend) indicator or on the other fibo level.
You may see it on the second statement.

So, it was in semi-automatic way.

It works but I did not try those new Ichimoku indicators posted on this thread.

Because it may be good to construct some system for M5 or m15 timeframe with alarm, and with signals sending automatically to calendar for SignalTrader EA. And in this case I can moderate the forum and trade in the same time ... just dreaming ...
