server based automated trading

So lets say after a long long time, I finally have a system that I want to ATS.

What is best server based solution to go with?

Tradestation ? Is that code sitting on their server, 24X7 monitored, aloowqing me to monitor, reliable feed etc etc.

Perhaps FXCM - I rad that if you have tradestation code they will host it.

Perhaps Quantdeveloper, they seem to have a connection.

Perhaps someone that has a server and is connect via Trading technolodies interface.

No really, I realise that mq4 is GREAT, and fast etc, but to get a system onto a server and have it trade big numbers, what is the best option?
ie. use a terminal connection or putty to login to the server.

Perhaps I should get my own server in the US, simply have a MBTrading or Interactive brokers connection, maybe upgrade and use FIX, and so trade signals off of Wealthlab or quantdeveloper or TS2000i etc........

Take a look at this thread and follow the advice for setting up a VPS. It's simple and it works!

EA on remote servers ?

Why do you not just buy a cheap laptop with a good amount of battery run span. Then you would secure your ea code, plus have a long backup time (Keep it plugged in to the wall - If power fails, batteries will take over for 1 to 4 hours depending on batteries used).

I agree 100%. with a winning system, Id never trust my EA or system to someone elses server.
Id always keep it safe at home or work.

Get a cheap UPS, and if you like, a redundant Cable modem connection for 29 bucks a month would do the trick.
