There is only one thing I recommend changing - thresholds for opening a new order: 0.680, 0.780, 1.000
(Athough before you start adjusting it, please try the stock setting of 0.680 first.)

The standard setting is 0.680, I don't recommend going any lower than that for opening a new order. The higher numbers are for stronger trades but it will trade less often.

You can watch the NN at work calculating the thresholds for you because I have included a small summary in the information panel.

I added a picture of how I designed the NN. I didn't use a computer program or a wizard or anything like that. I used a blank piece of printer paper and a pencil.

I have added a function called NumberOfBarOpenLastPos which prohibits from making another trade on the same bar, but it still opens several positions on the one bar

I am trying to see if an EA based on these requirements can be created:

1) Find the lowest low (SSP, sell stop price) and highest high (BSP, buy stop price) of the previous two 1-hour candles.
2) Entry price is 10 pips less than SSP and 10 pips higher than BSP from above.
3) Place buy and sell stop orders at a pre-specified time.
4) Merge them as OCO - one cancels the other. If any one of the stop orders get triggered, the other one must be cancelled.
5) Provisions for entering lot sizes & start time(s).
6) Provisions for stop loss and trailing stop would be nice to have.

Now sure how much of an effort it takes. Can someome please help ?

the idea is so simple, but to make this to an EA is not my skill

I will try to explain my ide

at this case we decide to set 50 pips of each grid, using 1 lot, and EURCHF at 1.5100

open BUY 1 and SELL 1
=====>if price goes to 1.5150 then close Buy 1 and open Buy 2
and also we open for SELL 2
if the price move to 1.5100 again, then we close all open trade

what we got?
BUY 2 is lost -100 SELL 2 is profit 100
we still booked BUY 1 with profit 50

=====>if price goes to 1.51200 then close Buy 2 and open Buy 4
and also we open for SELL 4
if the price move to 1.5150 again, then we close all open trade

what we got?
BUY 4 is lost -200 SELL 4 is profit 200 Sell 1 is lost -50
we still booked BUY 1 with profit 50 ; Buy 2 with profit 100
The Profit : 100

i hope this little information is enough, we can use it at eurchf since this pair is ranging all the time

this Ea works on long TF H1 or H4, maybe a coder could optimize the programming for lower TF. Anyway several of us could forward test this ea to make a more generalized opinion of this ea (teeth)

SO.... I think it is better to predetermine a point where you will get out of grid trading.... or you will end licking your wounds, if you stay alive!.

This expert is good for grid trading during range times... it can accumulate 100,s of pips if you are lucky....but if we can do these modification, it will be more good:

1- to add 2 points for sell: "variables"
- not to sell above: 1.6000
- not to sell under:1.5800 " leaving price as 0:00 means ignoring this variables"
explain:
a- if we choose "not sell above" to be 1.6200..this means the expert will not open sell orders above this price... if the market exceeded this price our expert will stop trading...
b-if we choose not sell above 1.6200 and let" not sell under" blank"0:00"...this means our expert will not trade if the price exceeded 1.6200... but will sell as the price is going down....
c- if we choose to " not sell above" to be 1.6200, and " not sell under" to be 1.5800....this means our expert will trade between these two point only...

2- THE SAME POINTS TO BE REPEATED FOR BUY

3-all grid experts that i met put points of trading depend on similar methods...
explain:
if we choose to trade every 50 pips when the prices is 1.6400.. our expert will start putting orders at the prices of 1.6450, 1.6500, 1.6550,....etc.

I THINK IT IS BETTER TO DETERMINE START POINT" VARIABLE"....
explain:
price now is 1.6400...our start point is chosen to be 1.6433...our intervals is 50 pips... then our orders will be 1.6433,1.6483,1.6533,1.6583...etc.

4- simultaneous trading using different setting on the same piar..
explain:
may we trade on 1M,5M,30M using different settings...so we can put 3 or more experts on 3 or more time frames for same pair...

Probably this method is used in a lot of ea you saw before ... But I would like to hear if any of you can suggest me what to do about some problems I have.

Idea is simple - buy when there are conditions for it ... if price go to different direction buy twice more to earn quicker if price start to go up, and continue like that up to 4 positions. Same for sell positions.

I am closing all BUY positions if summary of their profits are > 100. Closing all SELL positions if summary of their profits are > 100. If I am close to Margin - I am closing position with biggest minus.

Problem1: If summary for BUY positions are > 100 for example - I am calling FilterOrders(OP_BUY); but sometimes that function close 1 ... 2 or 3 positions and not all ... sometimes after that function I have remaining positions. How come!? I am passing via all positions and function should close all of them, isn't it?

And also I have problem2 what to do if all 4 positions are open for example for BUY ... and price continue and continue to go down ... WHEN TO STOP LOSS ... As balance continuing to drop closer and closer to margin and earning from Sell positions are useless almost.

The orders are based on the high and low of the last 4 hours before London session open like desscribed in 7am-9am Big Dog USD Breakout Strategy @ Forex Factory
So who can include the straddle with the different lot sizes (Fibonacci) into in an EA that follow the rules of the breakout strategy.
I hope we can use this way to find new way because of combine old ones.
