Strategy Test vs LIVE trading?????
Hi Folks!
I am new to using strategy tester. I started testing an EA with 90% modeling quality - I found a document here that showed how to set to 90%. To see how it worked, I ran it through the last couple of weeks with my EA to compare to the LIVE results I had. The results are no where near the same. I have winners in ST where I had losers in LIVE TRADING and vice-versa. WHy wouldnt they produce the same results? And if not, is strategy tester of any use at all? I read many posts that state that ST is worthless and just rely on forward testing. Thanks from a ST novice
