I made the test with the EA 100 pips v3.1 since today of morning. It happens that it is opening many positions in the same pairs at the same time.
Positions opened since the hour exist that I started to twirl the EA and if to repair in border EXPERTS, can see that the EA is trying to open position, but do not have enough edge, or either, while the edge to make possible it will be opening order.
The result was good, but if we conseguissemos that it opened only one position of each time in each pair I find that we would have little possibilities to lose protecting our edge and with this giving bigger credibility in the EA.
It follows in annex the test that I made since the 10:00 of today until the 17:25, where at this moment the EA does not obtain to open orders because of the insuficiencia of founds.
Maybe I am being stopid or something, but can someone tell me what is the criteria that needs to be meet for the EA to place a buy or sell?
1). When both MA's cross the price, it places a buy/sell trade?
2). When a new bar crossess the MA's?
3). or when?
I change a few settings and stuff, and ran the backtest, and it gave me a good profit. Looking closer at the chart, there seems to be a few missed trades, well from my point of view. I like this EA, from a backtesting view, will forward test it this week.
This EA will stay in a trade for as long as a week and only make a few pips. It will not end the current trade before it has reached a profit. i'm sure their is EA's that can do a better job.
Just not my idea of trading. If I'm wrong please tell me why.
