I'm trying to have SendMail send updates to my Hotmail account. I have it setup properly, and I get all my other email on my cell phone. But I can't get Metatrader to send email to Hotmail.

Is there any easy and free way to get SMS messages with my account status on my cell phone?

Does anyone know how to get Metatrader to email a phone via push email?

I've tried emailing my Hotmail account to no avail. I get all my other hotmail messages there. The Metatrader ones seem to get rejected by hotmail all together.

Problem is that Hotmail will not accept email generated out of Metatrader. It's probably not well-formed in some way and Hotmail filters it out as junk.

Since I get my Hotmail on my phone, that would be the best situation. But I"d be willing to take any SMS or email message from Metatrader even if its not Hotmail.

Set up an smtp server through http://www.dnsexit.com/Direct.sv?cmd=mailRelay
$15 bucks a year. You will need the text message number to your phone.
ie xxxxxxxxx@blank.com thats the easiest to figure out.
(Also, I think hotmail is a Http server...that don't work with metatrader..youll pull your hair out trying to make that work.)
As far as your modification to your alerts.. add the newbar function and corresponding programming to only send 1 out per bar.
