Hi!

I am looking for a Breakout EA to optimize the settings for my trading strategy.

After the close of the daily candle the EA should enter one buy and one sell trade:

- Buy (Last Daily Close + Long Trigger, SL Long, Target Long)
- Sell (Last Daily Close - Short Trigger, SL Short, Target Short)

If one trade is triggered the remaining trade is canceled (OCO).
If the trade is stopped out a reverse trade with doubled lot size is triggered (only once).

Trigger, SL and Target for Short and Long shoud be configurable.

Open trades are closed at a defined time.

And there is good thread about one of this EA in this public forum. Try to find this thread for SimpleDailyRangeBreakExpert EA.

here is one for news or low range breakout. It was in a thread befor.

I use it for news but works on breakout too. Just set use news to false.

Hi there.

I have a profitable trading-system, it's good but manually done every day.

I take high and low of 09.00 and 10.00 o'clock one hour candlestick and put in buystop and sellstop, at 22.55 every day i close postition.

This is profitable per month basis. The mq4 code can be found in hans123 breakout ea, but i am not good in metatrader-programming.

Now i want to have help with an ea automating this trading-system.
Can anyone help me and do this simple coding, thanks.
The logic would be put in orders, and close them at 22.55 every day.

The person which first code this ea and put it here in forum can run strategy tester and se how profitable it is.

I think this simple ea will remain free for ever.

Someone is moving my post to where i don't want it...

I name the system to Rankor Breakout.

Profit for 2008-06-27:

Buystop kl.09 at 1.9765, close order kl.23 at 1.9870 = 105 pip
Buystop kl.10 at 1.9780, close order kl.23 at 1.9870 = 90 pip

Total 195 pip for one day.
Remember this was a good trending day, no zig-zag day.

Who became first to program this simple trading-system and put the mq4 here?

Well, i have found this hans123 breakout indicator and tried to change it as i wanted. The first candle is functioning ok at 08.00, but not the second, see chart.

The purpose is to have a vertical green line for 08-candle and a yellow line for 09-candle and showing them until 24.00.
This is good visual when i put in my orders, see chart.

Profit for yesterday:

08-candle: Sell 1.9887, close 1.9828 = 59 pip
09-candle: Sell 1.9882, close 1.9828 = 54 pip = Total 113 pip/dollar 0.1 lots

Anyone can coding this tradng-system can run strategy tester to see how much money it would have make for last year..
