Post Volatility Breakout EA

Hi... I read "Encyclopedia of Trading Strategies" last week.
You can download it from:
http://www.loombo.com/dl/5562 - Trading Strategies Encyclopedia - Part 1
http://www.loombo.com/dl/5563 - Trading Strategies Encyclopedia - Part 2
http://www.loombo.com/dl/5564 - Trading Strategies Encyclopedia - Part 3
http://www.loombo.com/dl/5565 - Trading Strategies Encyclopedia - Part 4
http://www.loombo.com/dl/5566 - Trading Strategies Encyclopedia - Part 5
http://www.loombo.com/dl/5567 - Trading Strategies Encyclopedia - Part 6

At the beginning I decided to create simple OpenMA && CloseMA cross EA with signals from daily timeframe, but I realized I created volatility breakout system.
As I read, VB systems gives good results on FOREX.
My back tests gives good results too, but are different, it depends on timeframe.
(Last year backtests GPBUSD, 1M, 5M, 15M).
Nowy folder (2).zip

I have some ideas how to improve this EA (it cuts profits in half a way)...
Then I will post it...
Is there any one who would like to do forward tests?

Raff

sure I would be happy to. Post the EA and I'll test it.
would you also give me your historical data? I'm having troubles getting it from alpari.

Ya...
Send me private message with Your email adres... I will try to send GPBUSD and USDCHF data...
I need more data too... Last 3-5 Years...
If there is someone who can help to get it, please post here...

Right now I am doing backtests on USDCHF...
Take a look...
OCC_v1_100_USDCHF_M5_Last18MTH.gif OCC_v1_100_USDCHF_M5_Last18MTH.htm

I don’t believe in back tests. Sometimes it gives me 90% modelling quality, sometimes 89.94...

There is a lot of things to improve in this EA...
I think profit factor could be 2 x greater...
I need some time to improve this EA... Month maybe…

Raff,

You are right.
That kind of trading systems may be very profitable at least in next few months. Up to the New Year.

I am trying to attach the data to the post but it is really difficult. I have 4 majors since the beginning 2001 and other paits from the beginning of 2004. Just copy of the 'history' folder in Alpari Metatrader. I am keeping this Metatrader just for backtesting only.

I am trying to attach. The full size is 1 Gb.

Do you have yahoo email address?

I will try to attach.

Well.
There is German website http://rapidshare.de/
So I am using this website.
It is 198 Mb totally in zip file. Whole my history folder. I am doing it in rar because of more compression. It will be in two files (click on the 01 file and the program will ask for the second one).

So I switched TV on because of long time uploading (some news about some diplomats from my country), then opened that website and suddenly pop up window was appeared with one question: "Do you like President Bush?" with "Yes" or "Not" ...
And small notice that I may win laptop.

I have downloaded these files but cant for the life of me figure out how to open them. The first one is a *.exe file which I understand is an application ??? The others are *.r00, r01, r02 etc. I am getting stuck with the extentions I think.

Can anyone explain how to open these files? Thanks for all responses.
