The best way to do work is to give a demo that will work for only say 30 days or so (compiled version). No back testing allowed by checking the date. This will give the client a change to see if the code is o.k or not.

Also a spec upfront is important and demo to your client before releasing the demo that the code do what he expects. If he is happy with the *.jpeg entries that you send him release the demo with a 50% demo fee.

If the spec change the fee change...... Most people have something they think should make a lot of money and when it didn't it is always the programmers fault.

I program for free and if I feel something is only wasting my time I can stop because i don't charge.

I want to adapt DLM 1.1 so that it can trade only Asian session, so that before the European session starts (about 5am London time) it will attempt to close out its trades and shut down for the day.
