Wow now I realized that it isn't 750 for licence + 50 per month, it's one of those. That's a steal!

I can't thank you enough for pointing me to this, I have been looking for many options and this seems the first decent one (I read reviews about the software from many sites and it seems highly recommended). Even better is that I can use it to test equities and futures too, I did some trading on stocks some 10 years ago (the hype times - good profits ) and I have had an itch to test some technical strategies that calculate odds based on fundamentals like profit p/l and so on but never had a reliable platform that I could use (too much trouble to download all the price data for each different stock)

there is no an exact and global solution for all pairs.

analyzable pairs: eur/usd, us dollar index
others: garbage

it will be just a dream, your statistical model will work on all pairs.

there are two ways to make money here:
1. integrate 1 lot, (1..5) pips during the TIME.
2. integrate (N X 0.1 lots) during the TREND.

two type of summation cause you make money using leverage. without leverage, you can do whatever you want.

there is no magic solution that will work on all pairs and all times. start point: clear this dream, focus on some pairs. curve fit on them

Anyway there are strategies that will work on some currencies and at all times work on over let's say 60% of pairs. You can't reliably get the results for these strategies if you test the pairs individially because at some periods the strategies give poor results and at other times they don't. Therefore you have to test their combined results on multiple currencies on the same time to get the actual results.

If you have a strategy that only works on one pair it's most certainly curvefitted.

Also some strategies are based on mixed combination of pairs based for exmaple on their relative strenghts. You just can't test these strategies on tester that only tests individual pairs.

Also if you have strategy that is working on multiple pairs, you still have to do manual money management and I don't want to do that. I want my money management to be based on solid mathematics and testable results on long range data.

I need a signal receiver expert , this expert is very suitable for who can not open position manually via signals that he receive from signal sellers or any site every day .
for example:this expert receives this signal from zifx site: buy Eurusd@1.571 stoploss:1.5722 tp:1.5794
and open this position automatically .
i know an indicator receive forecast from forex factory site and show it on the chart :this indicator called FFCal.
i am very busy and need this expert open position automatically for me.
i have not enough time for receive the signals.

tester can not simulate more than one pair during the test.. true.
all pairs are having garbage waves, except eur/usd and us dollar index.

so i can exacyly say that a solution other then eur/usd is madly..
it may need a human brain with this expert..

statistical/mathematical prove is a must.. tester has become a stable state.
hope multi-pair simulatin will also be added. (rnt)

It looks like not good data-quality, i would not bet that it will survive to a forwardtest :-)
