Well I have been forward testing two free expert portfolios for the past month. Neither of them blew up the account but one did manage to get a 40% draw down which is clearly not good . The other one has managed to end its first month of trading in profit.

Feel free to check the statement here and the reviews on my blog. The portfolio is using the Moneymaker v2, Ichimoku5, ADXCrossTrader and UniversalMACross experts which you can also download from my ftp here.

Ichimoku5 and Moneymaker are both on daily charts, USD/JPY and GBP/USD respectively. UniversalMACross is both on EUR/JPY and USD/CHF hourly charts, ADXCrosstrader is on EUR/USD 15 min chart. All of them using default settings.

Live Portfolio (This takes a while to download as it is a big excel spreadsheet)

I backtested this ea for different time slots, from one year to 10 years, and the result is good. However I am still not sure whether it will be profitable in the future. I am forward testing it now on a live account.

As you can see, the EA suffered some losses in December.

I am a newbi and I heard that people can be fooled by curve fitting. I have been fooled many times. I hope this is not another time.

This EA works on 1 minute chart of EUR/USD, so the highest quality of backtesting is 25%.

If you have optimized the parameters using the optimization tool, try optimizing the parameters using only data before begin of 2007 and then after optimization run the optimized version on 2007 data. That should help.

That is the trick I'm using, also trying the EA on other currencies or equities should tell you something (sl and tp should be however adjusted)

The problem is somebody will start copying the EA and there are too many good ones to show .Also there are 10 expert advisors working on my live account,it would be impossible to show one particular expert advisor

You can use the website http://sm-forex.com to show results only from specific EA (if it's using a unique magic number).

I have an EA that i'm using on live account (with more than 2000 thousand pips profit in 4 months - it's not a scalping strategy) but I don't want to publish the results, because i don't want somebody to replicate the algorithm. If anyone is interested he/she can PM me.
