I want to ask you something please. I used to follow your great posts about different EAs and I'm wondering whether you are going to sell them or not??
I want to know more information about that please in details.
hi
which version do you use 60x90 or the othr???
hank you
Based on 60x90 but I use around 30x45 for different currencies.
Couple of EURGBP trades at the start were from different EA.
I use Stop orders instead of market orders so it can withstand spikes as some orders are skipped if there is no retrace. Also I have been using most volatile ones.
I will be going live shortly.
this is my best EA so far... i have just finished writing it... below is the result of 3 years rough backtest (2006-2009).
my question, how long should an EA be backtested so it could be categorized as SAFE, PROFITABLE, and CONSISTENT?
why am i asking? because from 2006 to 2009, my EA results very good (only 24 loss out of almost 3000 position), but when i extend it to 2005 it makes an MC in early days. So, is 3 years enough to represent the future? Or should i extend to 4-5 years backtest? What is the optimum number of years?
