So, the people who are developing something for free and supporting our forum are stupid people? And commercial sellers are clever men, right?
No one forum can be developed by commercial proposals. It should be balance of interests between free developers (read: main forum supporters) and some particular members who want to sell and don't want to support. Otherwise good coders/developers/members will go away from our forum and I will be alone here together with commercial people with no any members around

I know this opinion. But there are two problems:
Who will be responsible for commercial sellers if the forum will take money for the advertisement from them to be in commercial section? Forum administrators? Too much for one person: some people will make money by selling, the other people will buy their product and will make money as well and admin of the forum will be responsible? Too much for one person, sorry. It should be some members who will evaluate the commercial proposals. Because one man (me) can not evaluate/know everything: I am still learning many things in forex together with everybody. And in this case the sellers should disclose something not to one person: they will have to do it for some few members who will say about it is good or not. But the sellers does not want to disclose anything, nowhere and never to no one.
The other problem is the main one: no one forum can be developed by commercial proposals. We are having good forum now only because of free developers.
I am not thinking about the sellers and their income. I am thinking about development of the forum. If the sellers want to sell legally on our forum so please maintain the balance of interests. It is not about commercial section only. It is everywhere now and in public threads even.

Ditto that. I think ND should really consider to limit the commercial poster by collecting a fee from their advertisement. MUST collect atleast 1 set of EA from them for your own use, evaluation, checking, testing, or even dump it to the recycle bin if you're too busy, as long as you keep them limit from posting on the commercial thread. I'm sure this will give them hard time to run their scam anymore. COLLECT A FEE!!! TSD is lossing its popularity nowadays. I can only see basher! Scammers! Cheaters! Fcukers like me running and shouting around due to no proper control. Atleast by collecting a fee from the advertiser are helping ND to run the site.
ND, dont tell me its not important to collect a fee from running this site. I aware Google ads a the above since few months or a year back, and if I put up "Norfh Finance"s website, it will automatically put up a link with advertisement like this => Forex | Forex Broker | Online Forex Trading | Forex Exchange | Mini Forex - NorthFinance Forex Broker So, by collecting a fee from the advertiser will definitely help you gain more bucks to maintain this wonderful site. Finally, I wish to say billion thank you newdigital that running a ALMOST perfect website. TSD is my GURU. And all my coding skills, and part of my trading skills are well earned from here. Its not about the responsibility, or who to blame if you collect a fee. You do not promise the seller in commercial section is genuine. But to block as much people that trying to sell stuff at the commercial section. Because by collecting a fee, I BET!!! The commercial section will definitely not so active anymore, unless the seller did know his EA WILL MAKE MONEY, and the money he sell the EA can cover his advertising fee, then only they dare to come and pay you a fee to sell their EA. Dont you think?

I agree with you both. I just thought it may take longer using some EA's like the MACDsample one over manual trading, I feel more confidence doing manual if it means more control and responsibility than having to worry about not knowing when an EA may trade and how far apart it may, I kind of add this to a value of what an EA is to me as well the style of trading and how frequent it trades as well.
Backtesting is ok but then to confirm I am not sure I have enough time or computer resources to test EA that does not trade often or perform to a certain win ratio, saying that though it is much better having a long term reliable solid EA than a short lived EA.
This forum is great to read alone, without even testing all the free EA's. So many to try yet I don't really see any commercial EA's that are better than free ones yet. And haven't really found many people on here saying such in high numbers about any commercial EA.
I think that running a site can be very time consuming and a hassle as well as a pleasure, you are doing a very good job of it IMO.
el cid I wish you the best of success with your EA and hope you do achieve your goals. Let us know when you get close to this and maybe share it with us either a free or commercial one. So far not tested any of your free ones, busy testing others for a bit longer yet.
ND just added this as I edit my post, just to tell you and others, I can't stand commercial ones over free ones because commercial sources have in interest to initially sell hype, lies, false hopes, false dreams and promises to their potential customers before they take seriously the importance or care or respect of their customer by providing an honest product and service. It is unethical to do that but many do it daily in the world, why should forex area be different, no way, not where money is involved. I go off what people say before commercial hype. I agree with you. balance is bliss. I can't bear looking at commercial sites, they are cheap.

I don't really see any commercial EA's that are better than free ones yet. And haven't really found many people on here saying such in high numbers about any commercial EA.
