It needed a 4/5 digit broker adjusting code, so this is a version that does that. For further explanation of how it works and what it does, please read the original post by wackena - he did a hell of a good job explaining everything
The latest version Firebird v3.2 (5 digits) EA is on this post (see mladen's post above): Firebird v63G
It was fixed for 4/5 digit broker as many member requested.
It is counter trend EA.
What is counter trend?
Look at those images:
Those kind of EAs are working good in particular market condition. For example, I forward tested 0.65 version for the long time in elite section and stopped using it because if unrealistic profit results (more than +30,000 pips in proft in almost every month which is impossible for real money account).
was it unrealistic because of the profits it was positing or the amount of orders it has open at a given time? also did some forward testing on firebird 3.2v it took a demo account from 5000 to 32,000 in the course of a month and half. The account later blew out to $3.50. I had turn equity managment off. I think if you tighten equity mangament as the account grows you should be fine. I am in the course of my second test account is already at $6,800.00from 5,000 from a week ago with equity mangament set at 30%.

what setting did you have on this file! and how big of an account do you recommend testing it on. I noticed you had mention something like 50k??
I think as long as you have a good broker "not a bucket shop" they will allow you to open all those positions and take profits.
- may be, u can tell us about this problem. I found it when compiled that mq4 file: Function "CloseTheseTrades" is not referenced and will be removed from exp-file;Function "CloseLoosingTrades" is not referenced and will be removed from exp-file;Function "iFXAnalyser" is not referenced and will be removed from exp-file;Function "GoalCheck" is not referenced and will be removed from exp-file;Function "GetSlippage" is not referenced and will be removed from exp-file;Compiling 'Firebird v63G magic.mq4'...0 error(s), 5 warning(s)

I'm new to TSD forum but have seen a few people testing this EA on another forum. There are a few different versions of this EA there.
The earlier versions which are identical to the original firebird-v63 use the
setting "long only" or "short only" which you can select yourself once you've established the direction of the trend on your daily or 4hr chart. This way the EA will open either short or long trades only i.e. trade in the direction of the trend. The problem with this kind of setting is that you have to be good at spotting trend reversals which is not easy (for me at least).
The latest versions (set to trade both long and short) use trendlines, which you would have to put manually on your chart, to determine the trend. As long as the price stays above/below the trendline the EA will keep trading in the direction of the trend. If the price breaks above/below all trades will be closed and you would have to draw a new trendline for the EA to start trading again.
Im not sure if I can post a link to the other forum, but would be great if someone could possibly combine firebird v3.2 with the latest version from the other forum (attached) to include Equity Protection and Hedge options.
Another thing, although I dont know if this would help, instead of drawing the trendlines manually could the EA be programmed so that it uses Gann Hi-Lo for entry and exits and maybe ADX to determine the trend direction and strength.
hi Wackena...
