Awesome! I will try to run this version in parallel with the original Blessing and see how it reacts when market trend change. Would be interesting to see this result.

thanks again for great addition to this EA.

The EMA looks for an UP or DOWN trend and the Stochastic decides if Short or Long on 80/20 levels.

I just started to try it on Demo so tell me what you think about your Demos.

Time-Frame is H1 tuned for the Indicator.

Question, does it mean no Long trade will take place when it is above 80 (overbought territory) and no Short trade if it is below 20 (oversold territory)
and only place BUY or SELL when the stocashtic in between 80/20 ??

Yes Sam, it will only Start a trade within the 80-20 levels, so if one pair is above or below it will not trade, this is why you may want to trade more than one pair.

Ok let me look at it, but it is best if you have a multiplier of more than one in a Martingale EA, that way you have a bigger Lot each time the trade goes against you, in order to reach a profit in retracement...

Cheers,

Question Back Testing Your Version

JEPM:

Just doing a little informal back-testing of your version. Seems that its not entering any sell positions in the Strategy Tester. Could there be a glitch?
Thanks for putting this together.

Trader1,

Its working just fine in Forward Test, it's been a long time since i backtest, i haven't done any backtest with this EA.

It doesn't even open Sell trades within the 80-20 levels? Remember it wont open a trade above or below these levels.

Also, in order to open a trade, the trend determined by the MA indicator has to be a Down trend in the case of SELL and the RED line has to be above the BLUE line in the Stochastic indicator. You may have a RED line above the BLUE line but if the trend is UP, the trade will not open...

All that said, it is strange that you dont have SELL orders taken into account that you cover a long period ot time on Backtest and it is normal to expect SELL orders as well as BUY orders.

The computer where i Backtest is sending an error when i tried to Backtest this EA so i have to check that.

Have you tried Forward Test? You can open various pairs with Default settings, only Portion = (number of pairs you open) TF = H1

One of them will be on SELL levels very soon, just so you can check if it works.

Thanks for the report!
