I have optimised H1 USD/CAD and H1 GBP/JPY and trading real-time with good success to date. Backtesting the GBP/JPY turned a $500 account into around $75,000 over a 24-month period, however, drawdown was high. This is an excellent piece of work...a real credit to the author! Just one piece of advise: backtest and re-optimise frequently.
HI GSOZFX! i'm a forex-learner and i've tried and tried again to have an acceptable backtest with this ea. i've used all pairs, all time-frame changing parameters of this great ea. Great because it is complete, but i'm not able to use is better. you say that you use this ea in real and it is a good notice for me. can you do a present to us and post the set file of your optimization?

Iam very new to forex can you give me the parameters of the ea setting as it is not working in my MT4 platform it is not buying or not selling and i dont know what to set in ea i request you to set my ea for good successful trade
We can not depend on optimization only. Optimization will find the best parameters for historical data. However, once it is used in live testing, thing will be a lot different. History will repeat itself ... sometimes

I don't know about the 'popup', but for the 'small profit'.
If you want, say a tp of 100, you have to enter 1000,
for a tp of 50, enter 500 etc. Just add a nought.

Yes, very simple. Right-click on your chart, select Expert Advisors, Properties. Then go down the list until you find AlertOn = true. Double-click on True and set to False.

I'm using the 8.1 MA crossover version, but there is something wrong with my configuration: the expert is making almost immediately, buy/sell and close orders (and not when the MAs are crossing) - I'm working with 2 MA (20/40) tf M15 USD/EUR.
Can you help with this issue? I think there must be something I've done wrong or not configured.
