Hi there Manuel,
Thanks for testing it on live account.
About the non-trading. Yes, there has been no trade last week on EU. The sudden spike in price can't be detected by the indicators, thus no trade.
About the error...
Yes, if it gives error, then Lyly won't trade. This is necessary to protect your money.
You said that you've attached the EA a week ago, and currently it gives the error of "M30 CHART IS LESS THAN 200 BARS - PLEASE READ THE MANUAL"
Considering you have set everything correctly, the causes would be:
- your MT4 is not refreshing the prices data. Try asking your broker if this is the problem.
- You have set the price history to lower than 200 bars in the MT4 option.
- You're not opening all 4 charts per pair.
- You put Lyly other than M30 chart.
Try this:
- On your MT4, go to [Tools], [Option], [Charts], make sure [Max bars in history] and [max bars in chart] is bigger than 200
- Close all charts. Thus deactivating and removing Lyly.
-
MUST open all M30, H1, H4, D1 charts per currency pair
-
MUST wait for those 4 charts to refresh to current price and time.
-
ONLY put Lyly on M30
-
ONLY attach Lyly after all 4 charts refreshed.
The errors would go away.
Also, remember that Lyly is a trending EA, don't put it on ranging pair. I only tested on EU but if you like you can try testing on other trending pair.
Hope that solve the problem.
Regards,
