Correct. I have a Demo account collecting data continiously.


The correct entry was at 1.3943. I think the EA will not open a Trade if you have Pending orders.

As soon as I deleted my pending order it Opened the Trade at 1.3951.

So I closed the trade the EA set 2 minutes before IBFX close @ 189 pips of profit.

I am currently working on a new Optimization. It looks promising however not as good as the 5-16-2009 Optimization.

I think this EA works best with 6 months MAX worth of data

Which is why 11-18-2008 until Opti 5-16-2009 is the most profitable.

To anyone who has been Optimizing this EA please leave some feedback, It's greatly appreciated.

I try to understand the optimization process ... I optimize for las week and will post results from demo account.
That I understand is when I optimize it for 1 week data it loose last 6 mounts. I will try that you suggested - to use wide range of data, but I am afraid that I do not have a real data more then a mount.

I try to understand how that EA works. It looks the past and learn the pasterns so it hopes that in next week that pattern will repeat. Right?

This morning I put 6 mount data and start optimization ..... 10 hours for first .set file. There must be a better way! I will tell you if I find a way.

Im Residing in India and i use IBfx for trading My GMT is +5.30 And what should i have to give for GMT Settings.....? Should i have to load the set files for complete working of EA or its just for Back Test results. Waiting for your reply

Try to backtest with the 5-16-2009 Optimizationg.

If it backtest fine then use it as your settings for EA.

I'm working on the new Optimization which looks like it might be more profitable. However I started late and might not have it until after the market opens.

GeorgeL did you try with 1 mount of data. 6 mount are very time consuming
