Thanks for sharing your account stats. Would you mind posting your .set-file and time frame you use? From the stats, it looks that you have a fix 25 pip profit target.

this broker time ( that i am sure is so easy) really gets me.. If my time is 3pm eastern time in usa and my brokers time is then 18:00 what is my open and close for the updated versions of thunder and lucky. For some reason at this present time lucky's is 22-6 thunder is 21-5. do i need to change them? as always, thanks for helping.

I open this thread because I create some EA and want to share it for free and unlimited to all of you.
I choose TSD forum for place to share it because first time I learn MQL and all my knowlegde about MQL language begin when i read tutorials on this forum.
First EA will be discussed is Your_Lucky
this EA has been discussed in many threads EURGBP, and many friends responses this is Profitable-EA
I open this thread because I have plan to develop several EA, not just Your_Lucky.
Your_Lucky is working on the currency EURGBP and have some restrictions time to trade, my EA will works on sideway trend. So, for current version that I want to share now, I give limitation hours trading when Asian market Session opened.
Before use this EA, you must understand about your broker first. The only thing you should know is how much spread for pair EURGBP, when asian session on your broker's time, how often your broker make spike price and many other things you should learn about your broker's characteristic to get best performance from my EA for your trade.
Please use Your_Lucky or Thunder4WD and make it better but do not sell it.
One thing that you need to do is when you make profit from my EA, please make a donation to support my creativity.

I just download your EA, and i notice there is a broker time note on txt. Btw, are those time in Indonesia or Eropean time?
Adjusting the TP or the S/L will not help you with these brokers (having variable or floating spread) to obtain equal results in successive backtesting, i.e. if one time pipspread reads 5 and next minute spread reads 7 or whatever value...... Right at the moment you click Start-button on the backtester it will take that value you see displayed....... during the whole test. So remember it will not take different pipspread values you see displayed Topleft on your screen all the time !!!!
So the only thing you can do with these brokers (having variable or floating spread) is wait for the exact moment you see pipspread displayed at 4.... and hit the Startbutton..... Take care that MAXSPREAD also reads 4. Do not use any higher value for it will 100% certain fail and kill any account.
Ask yourself these questions:
"DO I WANT TO KEEP ON TESTING ANY EA THIS WAY..... KNOWING THAT TESTRESULTS VERY EASILY MAY BE CORRUPTED AND FAKED?"
"WILL I OTHERWISE EVER HAVE FAITH USING THESE BROKERS PIPSPREAD FACILITIES...... THAT IT WILL TURN INTO MY FAVOR SOMEHOW SOMETIME?"
"IF ANY EA WORKS BETTER OR SOME EA'S WORK ONLY IN MY FAVOR WITH A FIXED SPREAD >>>> AND THIS WILL NEVER EVER CHANGE >>>>>> WHY IS IT THAT I AM STILL WITH THEM? WHAT AM I HOPING AND WAITING FOR?
Did you for instance ever check their datafeed? Check different platforms with different brokers. Use same EA with same settings and you will be amazed how big the differences in results will show......
The enormous ups and downs in bitrate for instance, expanding and squeezing of High-Low are all techniques used by brokers to fool your EA's......
How badly some platforms slow down MT4 operation right at the moment when an EA or a Scalper wants to open or close a trade? Bitrate at times is enormously intensified solely for that reason. You can check this pehenomenon by installing DUMETER and visually watch datafeed increasing and decreasing.
So if at least you have secured yourself of one thing..... YOU HAVE CHOSEN A FIXED SPREAD BROKER...... regarding your backtesting and your forward demotesting, you have gained so much that all the other things that effect smooth operation of EA's and Scalping systems you now will be able to set the parameters to optimized values during a sequence of testing and after that sequence another sequence going through all parameters once more...... untill such moment your backtestgraph is finally stable and profitable.
Next you start demotrading...... Following these steps will learn you that this is the only way you will ever be able to find out up front if an EA is going to be profitable on the platform of your broker.... YES or NO !
