I have been using Lucky v2B on Demo and it worked well. Now I set it on the live account and it doesnīt trade at all. Just to see whether it is the market, I setup Lucky v2 again on the live account and it works.
I do have variable spreads and 5 digits on Activtrades....any ideas?
RDB: you said, there is no need to change any settings especially regarding the 5 digits.
Yet I think v2b has problems with it. My Demo account has only 4 digits, so I think the problem is there...
Any one interest in bridging MT4 from your working demo account to MBT navigator. I know a guy who can do that. I will have him do one for me. If you interest we can share some cost to the programme. Spread avg is 1.4pip on MBT so we can save alot going forward and don't have to worry about bug on MT4. You don't want that thing disconnect on you when you have live account to fix jam and many problem they usually have when it's fresh built. Broker like ATC still have many problem with ECN so bridge to MBT navigator I think still alot safer.
About bridging and MBT, you can use NeoTicker (one of the best platforms, for charting, coding, etc...a lot of built in stuff! coding in DelphiScript, C++, C#, JS, etc... possible!) BTW: does anybody can code delphiscript please contact me. So bridging can be made with NeoTicker + MBT Navigator on a professional way! (for this no coding needed!! AND it's proved!)
Two "problems", a.) I can't code DelphiScript or something similar (so I can't translate Lucky and b.) platform NeoTicker is not free. (but Demo)

ALPARI's (UK) Live Acc Spread for EUR/GBP & EUR/CHF
I've running Your_Lucky v2b in Demo for ALPARI (UK), FXDD & FXPR0.
For ALPARI (UK) resulted much better profit comparing the others (more open trades & profits).
So, I have plan to open Live Acc in ALPARI (UK), but I heard that the spread between Demo & Live for EUR/GBP & EUR/CHF are different.
The spread for Demo EUR/GBP=5pips, EUR/CHF=3pips.
Does anybody have Live Acc in ALPARI (UK)?

Will this EA work with an ECN broker that has the variable spread? Or because the spread is moving so fast this will not able to accurately enter the trade when the spread is low enough? This is the question that needs to be asked. Does anyone have experience with this EA on a variable spread broker?
Yes. It works. At least on these two brokers below. I am testing the EA daily on their demo platforms. I don't know if they would work live. Haven't tried that yet.
HotspotFX is testing a MT4 platform provided by ATC that uses the data feed directly from Hotspot. Contact them for details. Your account is with Hotspot, which is an ECN broker.
IBFX offers a "non-dealing desk" system which they claim offers straight through processing to their liquidity providing banks. I have used this one too, and the spread varies with the time of day and the volatility. It works fine with the EA also.
I have also tested Alpari, MIG, FIBO, FXDD, FX Pro, and a few others. These usually have spreads that are too high during the trading hours we use with this EA.
regarding your question: No, sorry, I didnīt use any indis...I simply watched the market and it was still very active, no sign of calming down for the Asia-session. And also, since I am a member in the Fapturbo-Forum, I read their trading sentiment and they also recommended to avoid trading.
I consider myself still a newbie and therefore I have to use my common sense, my experience so far and other sources...the mixture helps me to make up my mind :-)
To get an idea: for example, look at the charts of the pairs which are used for scalping. Look specifically at the times between 20:00pm and 4:00 am ( Asia-session...whatever time that may be for you )....and see the range of the pair. If you see it being very volatile, even having a broader range than usual....better stay out.
Then next look what happens after 18:00 pm ( always using my time- which is german )...if the market calms down...ok...if it has been highly volatile over the day and still didnīt calm down...stay out...
That is, what I had been doing.
Tonight I give it a try...well, I donīt know yet about later. I just wanted to see, whether it makes sense to change the trading times.
For example, instead of starting at 20:00pm...start at 18:00 pm....instead of letting the EA run through the night...turn it off when I go to sleep...
