Ok, this is not a suggestion, but an ea I've been developing for quite some time now.

Type of a grid system, with an algorithm do decide find current range, and protect from trending periods.

Anyways I've setup my account with myfxbook.com, and you can track my automated system here

So far the account is up 2.12% after 3 days. Will keep you updated how it goes.

Also note this trading is done on a demo account - my last test before going live.

Ok, I see there's no upload option for images, so I'll just write some stats, for some more advanced statistics, you can go to my system page I posted earlier.

Account is up 2.7% after 3 trading days. 12 trades closed so far for a profit, and 9 are currently open.

Waiting for the eurusd to break from it's range updwards, hopefully tomorrow after the nfp report.

System still doing well, as the account is now up 3.09%, with 7 open trades for a floating loss of about -1.5%.

A quick update before the markets open - account is up 3.89% but with current drawdown of about 20%.. waiting to see how much of a retrace will be on market open if any..

As of now it looks like the ea is still not ready to go live, be I'll see how it handles the current drawdown.

account is up 4.88%, but the drawdown is a bit bigger, and now is about 25%. will see if the eurusd will keep retracing.

Sorry for nit updating, been busy lately.

account is up 9%, and the trend protection system has come into play, and not new orders are being opened at this time.

If the trend reverses, open orders will start to close to minimize drawdown. once the current trend resumes, new orders will be opened.

will see what will happen.

Hi there all..
Haven't had time to post lately as I've been very busy.

My ea is still going strong, and account is up 16.4% with a daily average of 0.57%.
It has sustained the strong movement in the markets so far, and it's really interesting to see how it develops.

Account drawdown is now about 10%, so I think it's performing very nicely.

I'm now thinking of applying it to other correlated currencies as well to create some kind of a hedge, so that would protect from strong trends and at the same time will still keep making pips.

Exceptional trading week this has been.

Account is up 25.2% and still growing. Now that the eurusd has made some quick one way action, I expect it to go down again, which will create some drawdown period. Nevertheless I quite pleased of it's performance so far.
