I use it about for 2-3 weeks. I would not call it a holy grail or get rich quickly stuff , but it complements very well my strategy. Whether it can help you to earn $, depends a lot how you will use it.

What is so different between this meter and the currency meter on the excel spread sheet that Tom Yomans was the first to make? It seems to me that once Tom's meter become know to the public everyone started a spin off copy and I am sure we all know Tom's meter very well. So what does this offer that his free meter does not?

Thanks Iceman for your interest.

The Tom Yeoman's meter is based on a comparision of different pairs price during the last 24hrs. Nothing else (anyway I love it!).

If you visited the probability meter webpage (in my signature) you probably see that the probability meter is based on plenty of different things: price action, indicators, different TFs ... etc.

It is the combination of all this that makes so powerful this tool.

I have to say Tom Yeomans was like a pioneer in retail forex trading.

Do you have a link to that spreadsheet? (If it's free). I'm wondering how he got data out of MT4 besides the WEAK DDE stuff in MT4.

Not sure if i can share the spreadsheet as per the copyright.

However, it's easy to connect an excel file to MT4. Here's how to retrieve the info:

=MT4|HIGH!EURUSD
=MT4|ASK!EURUSD
=MT4|BID!EURUSD
=MT4|LOW!EURUSD

With this, you are now able to calculate all you want with this current price.

yeah, I've got that part. But MT4 doesn't go any further into past quotes. It only allows current prices.
