Mr. Gagahlin Next Forex Seminar

Hi Thunderbolts,
Thanks for sharing it.

Mr Gagahlin will conduct BIG forex seminar this month (by the end of April 2008). So he's really busy right now.

His next seminar will teach Forex Arbitrage System and his special trading techniques in Arbitrage trading.

There are 2 website already discuss his new trading strategy and his forex seminars.

Perfect Forex Arbitrage

and

PFA Trading system

Last time I heard his seminar cost $2,000 for 3 days and already FULL. No seat available.

I think he's not only a good EA creator but someone who really knows what he is doing.

Phooey

I purchased PointBreak (Special version, not full version), ran demos for several months and then took it live.
It incurred huge drawdowns with well over 100 open trades. By the time all those trades close in a fast market you can lose all of your previous profit. This happened three times. After running live for three months my account was flat with no open trades after having been up by only 6%.
I no longer use this EA and do not recommend it.

Hello, whats make many people loss using pointbreak EA because they run on aggresive setting in fully automated mode.. i suggest to run on conservative setting.

If you work in conjunction with manual intervention, make sure you understand how to do MSP, or play with the global variable to play with Start Point.

Which one do you prefer?

Hi, I am a newbie in forex and just want to ask you guys about testing.
Which one do you prefer back testing or forward testing? It seems to me that every ea that i noticed in this forum is using backtesting. Now for me backtesting is very good in setting up the ea for actual trading but this is not necessarily means that the ea will work great on real time market right, so the obvious answer would be finding an ea that make you profit in real time not in the past. I am not recommending anything, but if you want to try a demo version on the example forward testing ea that I also use you can go to Point Break EA Review and check the statement and download the demo version there. It is only a demo and cannot be use in real account. This ea was developed by Mr. Yohanes Gagahlin. I hope you like the demo

This was not true in my case. I ran very conservative settings; since I have the "special" (limited) version I am not able to manually intervene.

Any EA that will create over 100 open trades is not an efficient system.

I recently received an email from the author acknowledging the recent drawdown problem and stating that they are working on changes.
This should tell you to be very cautious.

For what it's worth, I have tried countless EAs, both licensed and free, and have not yet found one that is consistent or profitable.
I am acquainted as well with a number of traders who trade for a living, and none of them use EAs, they will tell you as well that there as yet are no profitable ones.

point break

Well as far as I am concern the EA is doing fine. I dont know how you guys can go up to 100 open trade with out some of the trade is not being closed by the ea. In my case I too have some difficulties regarding the ea but it is because I shut down my computer several times and I think it affect the ea performance. My advice to you guys if you want to use the ea, use very conservative setting, with at least usd5000 on your account, 0.1 lot on each C cycle you want to use, and the most important thing is to just let you computer On all the time (of course with internet connection) so that the EA can calculate the targeted profit. Click here for result of using the EA. BTW I am using Full version of the product and for the time being I like this EA.
