Hi folks,

Could somebody tell me what does he think about this simple EA?
It works good in metatrader back tester

can you live with that drawdown?
largest loss is over 9k, imagine if that would have happened in the first week...either you'll need to increase the win ratio or reduce the risk, both will mean reducing profits probably..

Hello codersguru,

In terms of backtest these results looks quite good, especially for the long period of testing (4 and half year).
I like simple ideas like this that can generate profit.

It is promissing but the drawdown is too high I think 29.7%!!
The profit factor is respectable 2.07.
There is something that is bothering me, that trade for example:

3938 2004.01.15 20:58 close 1845 1.00 1.2574 0.0000 1.1516 -9580.00 57700.00

You are losing -958 pips on 1 position ?
You have actually no stop loss in all the position, but only a trailing stop ?

I would have a further look when I get home today

VOTE it is damn good ! YOU are the most educated person here .you teach all of us in mt and all your lessons is spectacular ,eazy to understand ,you bring the light for all of us and intime you bring along an EA and wanna know what we think a bout it ?! Damn who are you ,what are you ? You really expand your student horizon ,I dont know is there a word to expretion ,admiration,salutasion ,to you CODERSGURU

It is interesting question and very interesting subject.

Looks pretty good. Only thing I do not like, is several buys/sells on same candle.

I think better to trade once per cross in order...buy, then sell, then buy, then sell

HI,

I would like to demo test this EA but with Lots= .10 , I changed the lot size from 1 to .10 and get errors I dont know how to correct, ??????
