Hi
Today Dollyv11 set at GMT shift =0 / Pivot = 1.9746 / average range =120
i have noticed on occasion if you have just started a new account the daily average can be inaccurate due to i think a lack of previous data. The v10 Pivot has got me puzzled though.

Backtesting Levels

I recall seeing a version of Dolly or a function within Dolly that puts the levels for previous days on the chart for backtesting purposes. Can someone tell me where I would find this again? Thanks.

Alan

wow 98% is quite amazing, so far you are the authoritative person I can believe cause I saw you involved with this project since beginning. All I can say that dolly v11 is impressive although rather confusing about the upper right corner arrow signal. Thanks and high respect to all who have contributed to dolly 1 and dolly 2, you guys are quite amazing (Frantatech, CJA, Ancoll, hymns etc) The most colourful functional indicator (after XO) I have seen since the advent Metatrader. I could not avoid my emotion to see this impressive indicator, this is the only lack of this indicator (colour which invites "wow" emotion which could make you forget a while about the trade in it :-) ).

Hello everybody,
first i read all the thread,
but i'am a clear newbie, could someone explain me the principles of Dolly, i uderstood the strategy. I see that there is different approches to trade with it. A trending system with the guppies, and a breakout system with dolly graphics with fibos and other pivots like MM, reinforced with different oscillators. The think i want to know is this blue and red zone, it is a scale of the adr, on how many days? Why do we have a no trading zone, between the buy and the sell zone? etc.. It's basic questions like this, that a newbie like me wants to know, nobody here is newb, so nobody ask such questions. I read all the thread.
Thanks

hello flytox,
i think this answer maybe not exactly what you want. for me or other traders (asian season) market still small range (for major market except yen) on early morning till LONDON/EUROPE market open. So i/we dont want to take a risk trade for small movement because Dolly is a BREAKOUT STRATEGY and FILTER by OTHER good trend/oscillator INDICATORS to pick the SAFE, EARLY & BEST price to PLACE orders. hope this answer will help you.
