Dolly

Hi Linux

Firstly I must say thank you to you and all those who have contributed to this fantastic system. I have been comparing Dolly to WSS and must say that I think Dolly gives a clearer picture of what is happening.

I have been using the DPO indicator with a 13 LWMA over lay and also Volty choppy (settings 9, 3) to help confirm entry points. I have tested it on the visual backtester for repainting and all seems to be ok, I would appreciate any feed back from others.

I also use the Heiken Ashi indicator instead of the price bars, I feel it gives a better picture of the overall price movment.

Anyway it may be worth taking a look at and I look forward to the ongoing development of Dolly.

Cheers

Mark

Good job!!!

HA is VIP indicator.

Maybe you want to experimet with CCI.

Due the nature of what we want to happend (a nice breakout). Every tool which could give ours a clear situation of who is in control/who is winning the battle/who is the next in take the control. The bulls or the bears.

If the bears are/could be in control, wait for a sell if the bulls are/could be in control wait for a buy.

If I can, I would like to recommend a read and understanding of FXiGoR-(T_S_R) about pullbacks and bounces, overall trend.

In muy case the first thing I do is plot H1/h4 with a channel of 34 EMAs HLC. Too look what is going on. If prices are inside the channel I don´t do anything. if prices are outside the channel I´ll take the buy/sell. The channel gives me an idea of where the prices are going.

I do that because in a downtrend you´re subject to bounces and in uptrend you´re subject to pullbacks.

IE: If the breakout suceed during a pullback and prices are near to the buy zone it´s risky to take the sell trade. Because the overall trend is up, and maybe, when the price is reaching the sell zone the move is out of gas.

Loos at the pics. Cable during 09/25 almost 26.
Prices break trough sell line after a nice uptrend move and are out of gas before reach the first TP line.

But if we look at the cable in H1, price retraced into the channel with a chop chop market after a big uptrend (pullback, the market is breathing).

VoltyChoppy Indicator

I see some of the charts posted have the VoltyChoppy indicator. What is it supposed to show (choppy markets, I suppose). Is it a proprietary indicator? I can't seem to find it in the usual places (Lightpatch), & I'm still waiting for my registration at forex-indicators.freefxsystem.com to be processed. Any takers?
