Ok. Now I am in contact with the author of the Generator of Digital Filter's indicators software.

He confirmed that it is very difficult to select the parameters for the difital indicators because there are different parameters for the different pairs, timeframes, time of the month and so on. The only one way to select the parameters for creating the indicators is visual way during the spectral analysis. There is some option in the software to do it.
But visually! Difficult!

He asked for the mathematician who may help him to create execution algorithm for the calculation of the parameters using the spectral charts.
He has everything. He need just a consultation. Can anybody help?

STLM Histo,

Can anyone guide me as to how to use the indicator generator package to fine tune the above indicator ? It has 4 inputs and the generator won't even let me put 2 in without coming up with an error message ?

I have managed to adjust fatl and satl and create indicators but that's all. No spectrum analysis yet. That's way above me for now.

Thanks

Chris

I tried this software many times. It works. But for the first time I could not start anything because I needed some explanation. But nobody explained anything. So, I had to in a good contact with an author.

Now I can start. There is help in english language (very bad english) and you may choose the english interface as well. And there are samples of SATL etc in the program's folder.

As I understand you need to select the pair and timeframe first (download from somewhere) and when everything will be ok.

Go to the 'file', then 'open file', download some data file (audusd h1 for example) -I downloaded from metatrader's historical folder inside my computer, then select filter type (first one for example), select 'method 2', click on calculate button, wait and you will have a filter. The problem is to select the Passbands (parameters) but inside the program's folder there are some samples of the parameters and filters.

As to spectrum analysis so it is the same. Click on spectrum analysis button, download data file (from 'file' - 'open file') and so on.

Yes that's about as far as I have got too.

But what I want to know is how to fine tune the STLM histogram. I would like to make it a little faster but have no idea how to fine tune it.

As I know STLM(k) = SATL(k) – RSTL(k).

So it is possible to create SATL and RSTL (both are Low Pass) and there is some option in the program to combine two or 3 indicators in the single one or include the filter inside the any custom indicator. But I did not try even.
Author of this software is from Siberia, programmer professional, playing the forex as a hobby sometimes and does not speak english at all.

He appealed to me and ask me to find the person to continue with this software. He needs mathematician. He wants to update this program for the settings to be calculated in the software for all kind of filters by one or two clicks. He wants to program this spectral analysis to get the settings of the filters according to the pairs, timeframe, daytime and so on. He wants to program it.

Are you mathematician?

Digital RSI 3TF

I'm getting more and more a fan of these digital indicators. I just wish I knew enough about coding to be able to write some more. Look at the digital cci and see how much smoother it is as well.

RSI is a very choppy indicator and the 3 time frame RSI could become even better if converted to digital.

Would anyone be kind and clever enough to take it on ?

Hey newdigital,

What was the conclusion on this? Was it dropped because of lack of interest? Looks interesting enough to be picked back up.
