How often does trade copy check for new signals from master (how many seconds), and could trade copy be programmed to work on a local networks

working cycle is adjustable. default - 1000 miliseconds

what's the need for it to work on LAN?
master account can be accessed by main or investor password from many computers all over the world at the same time

yes, this product works on MT4.
but I have made another software for trading on Currenex, which has also bridge functionality to copy trades from MT4, Tradestation or other programs

It would be even more interesting if this was a server-based service, instead of a local/network limited software: go from the master via the dll to a server, and from another dll back to the slave. Now that would be something I'd be willing to pay $300 for.

there is another my product, similar to what you need - EmailTradeSignals
it consists of EA, which sends trade signals from master account, a program to read those emails, parse them to produce trade signals and another EA (slave) to execute those signals.
so you can make a mail group, using for example googlegroups service. it is convenient to manage your subscribers there. then send signals to the group email address and all subscribers will get them and autotrade.
i have plans to make a version, that will transfer signals via some instant messages service (like MSN, yahoo, etc.) for faster delivery over internet.

Ok but that all requires manual trade input and then your clients will start complaining that your track record is not realistic because they don't get timely fills.

nothing's manually traded. all goes automaticaly by EAs.
TradeCopy offers the fastest way of trades duplication, EmailTradeSignals is naturally slower and is not suitable for short-term time sensitive trading signals.
new version with IM transport should have time delays under 1 second too. PM me, if you are interested in developing it.

You may also use some free SMTP server (like this one: PostCast Server - Free SMTP Server), the delivery is instaneous.
