I would like to tradeyour Matrix System parttime. Interesting and important would be to know how to handle the different prices beetween WHC and the broker I make the trade. You told to us that the TP can be 3 pips only. How does it look in reality ? How to close for example 3, 4positions together in some seconds? I know you don`t trade Forex with Forex Broker, you trade currency futures. How do you do it ? Is there any way to get prices from your broker into Metatrader plattform ? Or exist the indicators for Ninja Trader, that you can trade out of the chart?
I would like to sign up the membership, but before I want to act and be to ready with all things to know and to do, so that I can start immedeality.
Would be very nice to read from you.
Good luck and success for the future
friendly regards
Dirk
Hi Dirk,
For once the reality is much simpleder then the theory or then one would think its is.
1) if you have 3-4 positions that would make 3-4 contratcs. On each arrow that we get we take in a contract. In my case that would be 10-20 contracts. If a big dot apears we close all our contracts (if we are in profit) with one single action. So if we get 4 arrows to go long lets say that you take on each arrow a long contract. Well if the big dot apears you close these 4 contracts manually all 4 together...period..nothing more nothing less.
The slipage will even work most of the times in your favour because when you are sitting long and the big dot apears that means that price is shooting up. Also while you are closing it. So the big majority of your trades that slipage is in your favour.
2) About broker and entry prices and data, you see that far to complicated.
The trades or positions that I take in are purely based from a MT4 platform.
In WHC they even give the prices or data on the cme currency futures but I don't even look to that.
If the euro gives a long on the forex on my WHC platform I take my position on the cme currency future. If the eur/usd on my WHC platform gives me an exit I take that exit on my cme curency future.
WHY?..because they move exactly the same. They have a difference in price or value but they are moving identcely the same. Now and then their can be like 1 pip difference but difference can be one moment in my favour and 2 minutes later against me and an other 30seconds again in my favour.
There is no other way that move exactly the same otherwise it would be an instrument for people who would start to trade the differences between those 2 in some sort of arbitrage or hedging system.
And not alone for the euro I work like this but also for dax or bund etc...
So don't see it all to difficult sometimes life can be easy ...

iGor,
nice to read that things be can easy in practice and not always complicated.
A last question I have : I could read that you had a loss, was it a floating loss or a realized loss? Don`t you set a stoploss ?
No, this is was an error which you do not need to take for attantion ... you have to look at pairs only, not for dax.......dax - is another story...
Thanks....
I see that you took DAX trade with full lot and that you trade the currencies with 0.1 lot.
Anyway, considering just currencies, you took 18 trades, each of 0.1 lot, 7 winners, 11 loosers today. Loss of -52.75 USD.
I have not been watching your report previous days. Just today. Was it exceptional bad day? I think you are one of the early members of the group. Do you trade according the Zorro rules? And if not, why not? ;-)

Thanks for your reply.
So ok, i post early in my post.
I work with Zorro approach on pairs only. But the differ from original rules are:
1) I started at 5-00 o'clock CET and closing all position 18-00 CET
2) My entrys according Zorro signals
3) My take profit smallest then original
Actualy i'm working on 4 pairs - EURUSD, GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY
I'm posting my own results for GBPJPY and EURJPY
For today i have loss 33 pips on this 2 pairs
Also i have loss for euro and cable 18 pips-

Dirk
thanks for taking time..
The loss is a realized one. I never work with floating losses and I do work always with stoplosses.
The loss that I talked about was a trade that was in profit and that I should have taken instead of let it go against me.
But the next trade I completely recovered from that loss.
But if I would not had to recover from it then it would have been profit on top of the previous profit.
But you don't hear me complain. Better to end the day with a small profit then a small loss ;-)

Still I couldn't able to understand the rules of Matrix system. Could you be little genarous to me to explain the exact entry and exit rules. And how can I trade contracts with dax template. If it is currencies is it going be same eurjpy and gbpjpy too.

Hi
It is far better to ask the questions in the room. That is what the room is for.
Then you get live help.
You do not trade Matrix on GBPJPY. It is for low spread pairs like EURUSD
Did not trade today. And anounced this in the trading room due to internet connection problems.
