Apparently, you have not traded real money for very long. When trading real money you will see the up and down profitability wave just like this one. It will not look like a backtest. One always shoots for 3-5% at the end of the month of your equity despite the intramonth draws. Let me say that Al has the guts to stick with it and show the good and the bad.. where else do you see such a continuous real trading report here on this board?
Keep up the good work Al, this is a good system

Live Trades Update

I made a huge mistake. I replaced the GBPUSD EA - due to weak results - with a new one on our live account. I was so obsessed with the new EA that I forward-test it for a while. Anyway, the result was way worse than what I thought. It lost 800 pips on one trade only and we are significantly down on that account. I'm not quite sure if the account survives after such poor results by GBPUSD. I let it run for a while but to be honest with you I'm not very optimistic.

There are times that you make poor decisions. This is is one of them. Fortunately I didn't distribute that EA among others but based on what I see I don't think we can see our equity back on track in less than two months from now. Click here to see the latest report.

I will work on the EAs to see if we can enhance the behaviour of them but I don't think it would happen in the near future. I'm still optimistic about PipBoxer. I hope we manage to survive the current situation.

Good Luck,
Al

Good Luck,
Al
I thought that it will take at least two months to get back on track but it actually took less than 24 hours to cover the loss that I made due to my own mistake not due to the system.

PipBoxer gained a total of 814 pips right after the loss made by GBPUSD. Here is the breakdown of the trades:

a short GBPJPY +565 pips
a long GBPUSD +2 pips
a short EURJPY +166 pips
a short USDCHF +57 pips
a long USDCAD +23 pips

The balance is back above $5000.00. It will take a while to forget what happened to my live account due to that mistake but at least PipBoxer once again proved to be a profitable system. It has closed over 300 trades in the past few month with a win rate of over 70%.

Click here to see the latest live report. These are live trades with real money.

Good Luck,
Al

hi Al,

thanks for keeping this thread going. there are not many EA creators/sellers willing to stand in front of their products like what you are doing here these days. i hope more will follow your footsteps. kudos to you mate!

must say that the GBPJPY sell on 2007.11.07 20:27 really saved the day

Hi ck,

Thanks buddy. I am committed to what I'm doing. When there are hundreds of people in about 40 countries who trade with my system I have to spend as much I can to present this system, support it, and enhance it.

Thanks again for your nice words.

Cheers,
Al
