You are partialy right : MT4 and ECN feed make a lousy couple because of the MT4 conception. Our API who is trying its best to sync the two but sometimes a rupture in the signal from our liquidity provider produces huge graphical spikes on the MT4. Thats a problem we are trying to resolve with the creator of MT4 himself.
to ES :
CC is a good alternative but Scott is right, 30$ is better and more secure for both parties. I'd advice people to leave the CC or E-gold for emergencies like margin calls. See you in the first quarter of 2008 for US offices.
to Smeden
UBS will defenitly play the dealing desk when there are people abusing the service like scalpers etc... but 99.99% they do not interfere.

I guess the fees of CC would be in the order of 4 to 5%, and they are high if you want to send in 50k or more. This is why i would recommend wire and egold / CC for emergencies.

the question is who pays those fees..perhaps my post went over some heads...(it is not always clear that the deposits are considered cash advances and the associated fees to the user...merchant fees are and should not be passed along to the end user)
P.S. By the way WaMu does not charge for outgoing domestic and international wires...

Hello Alecco,
I use icegold.com for 3 years now with no problems. Their services rocks and fees are 2% when selling e-gold and 0% when buying e-gold.
Take a look.
I hope it helps.
You are right, We witnessed this at the end of the trading day. It is not a freeze, its a bad feed.
It happens rarely on ECN feed and i really don't know if it is lack of liquidity or data interruption , but we are giving you the feed we are receiving straight without interference or smoothing algorithms.

Thanks Alecco,
Also check my previous post about icegold.com. They are a very reputable e-gold exchanger with the lowest fees you can find out.
Cheers
The AFX server seems to have changed it's time from GMT+2 to Gmt+1.
No problem, but is there any reason to do that ?
USA and Canada just did the semi-annual Daylight Confusion Time change. Just to make it worse than usual, they moved the date back by 1 week. I've had to adjust the clocks twice now on a lot of my electronics.
