Hi!

What are you saying, Milan?

So lets say at 14:25cet you bought eurusd @ 1,4129 because you thought NFP was going to send it up. You placed a stop loss at 1,4095, just in case.

And then, at 14:30cet eurusd went down 1,4055. Your stop wasn't honored?

I mean, if you had done what I said, you stop wouldn't have been honored?

Another example.

At 14:25cet you sold eurusd @ 1,4129 because you thought NFP was going to send it down. Your placed a stop loss at 1,4150 and a take profit at 1,4080. Your take profit wasn't honored?

I mean, if you had done that, your take profit wouldn't have been honored?

And what about changing it as you saw the number was really bad and eurusd could go lower that you initially thought. Could you do that?

For what I see, according to what you say, you couldn't change anything. Is that right?

I'm waiting for Aleccoh to answer.

BTW, Aleccoh, I was about to open an account with you, but what Milan says stop me.

I thought, according to what you said, stops are always honored like takes profits.

Another question. In case I had an account already in a Swiss bank, did I need to send my money to you in Lebanon?

I must agree with Milan, I have live AFX account too and they have problems with their servers. It seems that servers are overloaded because accepting orders took a long time (sometime). It isn't rule but it is frequent situation, it happens in normal market too (no news time release)....

Here is part of log where I wanted set straddle 5min 45s before CAD Employment Change
(I couldn't set straddle to report release, so I missed this trade)

12:54:16 'XXXX': pending order buy stop 10.00 USDCADm at 0.9956 sl: 0.9927 tp: 0.9996

I wrote about pending orders, not market. I sent straddle 15 pips above and bellow the price about 6 minutes before. Approximately 3 minutes before the price went down very near to my sell entry. I wanted to change it, but I couldn't. There still was an error Off Quotes. So I wanted to delete orders and result was the same, Off Quotes. So, my experience is, if you send the entry before release, you can do with them nothing till one minute after the release.

Hi!

But what about if you are already in?

Are you stop loss honored?

Hi!

Darkman and ElectricSavant:

Wasn't Aleccoh supposed to be our friend?

What kind of brokers is that?

But, again, if you are already in, does Aleccoh honor your stops and profits?

They do not want us to trade news spikes. They do though.

Now, they do not want us to trade near news releases. Amazing!

Waiting for Aleccoh.

We must wait for Mr. A to clear all of this up. Thus far he has done extremly well with his answers. I am thinking of a managed account with his team.

The Internet and Forextsd and you fellah's have sure been great for me. What a resource! You cannot put a price on this.

I have got no experience. I have traded with them only three times and haven't triggered the SL during the critical time 5 minutes before and one minute after the release.
