Alleco, what is the minimum lot size that can be traded in the interbank? i have read that it is a standard, full lot. If it is a full lot then for allecohfx how do you handle mini trades or micro trades? i have read that brokers aggregate mini lots before being passed on to the interbank. What does allecohfx do?
i did a comparison during the past FOMC interest rate hike. IBFX, FXDD, Alpari, Velocity, FXQL all dramatically widened their spreads in the euro/usd just after the announcement. For about 15 minutes the spreads on the euro/usd were first around 12 pips and then from 6-12 pips before returning to 2 pips spread. I compared that with MBtrading and the spreads did not get past 3 pips on the euro/usd during that period, with most of the time at 1 pip. With the allecohfx feed the spread stayed a consistent 2 pips during the same period.
I am afraid you'r wrong, with ECN interbank you can ALSO TRADE MIOCROLOTS But its not my problem if These Brokers you deal with Simply don't tell you the truth because they want you away from there ECN feed.
Yes you are right, I promised and i deliverd : FIXED SPREADS AND NO FREEZING during high volatily.
THAT's ECN in its purest form

What you just shared Mr. A. was news to me...and I profess to know a lot (pun intended)..I learn something new everyday as I always thought that Currenex and all the providers within it posted LOTS on the DOM (But true I have seen .5.... but that is always followed by a number in front of the decimal)

Guys think about it - in the real world institutions don't always have set amounts of currency that need to be exchanged. MSFT and GOOG come to JP Morgan saying "convert my 4,343,584 USD into EUR" so JP Morgan will make the trade. It's not always "please convert my 100k USD into EUR".
This is why firms like OANDA offer any size down to 1 USD. Because that's how it is in the real world.
I would just add that although InteractiveBrokers does not allow microlots ($10,000 is the smallest), watching orders being filled during times of reduced liquidity - incrementally - it is obvious that in the 'real world' transactions do not necessarily occur in $1000, $10,000 chunks so there should be no reason to fix lotsizes. But some brokers do...
First of all, I would like to Thank the account holders of aleccohfx for their support and help making Our Firm the Best and safest Broker Ever.
However, i must apologies for the delay witnessed sometimes in opening the accounts because of the fact that all funds Must pass by 2 regulated organisms before acceptance (Lebanese and Swiss) and the institution of segregated accounts for each account is indeed Time consuming.
You Must understand that i have deliberately instituted such rigorous regulations in order to be able to provide you with THE BEST FUNDS SAFETY SYSTEM IN THE WORLD at your request.
We are trying to speed up the process and i hope that we will be able to do so at the end of the month.
Concerning the Rush we witnessed on having the BULLDOZER 2.17 trading your accounts for free, may i remind you that This is a MACHINE and that we do not advise you to try it on big amounts Yet.
Even though it has proven its efficiency in overcoming all market situations , even crashes, we strongly advise you to begin with a mini account first then slowly switch to bigger funds.
Remember that an IT is watching constantly and will stop all trades if he finds any deficiency.

Is this with demo's?Its different live are you talking about live accounts?
