Hi Aleccoh. A question. Your website specifies that your standard accounts include microlot usage but doing a 'MarketInfo' check says Minimium lot size is 0.1.

So which is it? Thanks.

Forgot to add, your site specifies that you offer interest-free accounts - any conditions? Also, it would be nice to see the exact interest rates on your site - part of an also absent FAQ perhaps?

Why don't you come out with it? You are not muslim, but you want to offset your GBP/JPY or your AUD/JPY with a short and bank the swap difference with a perfect inter-account hedge...

I worked for a major broker ( you can read my thread ), so I understand trading from the inside out. The fact that aleccohFX is broadcasting prices that move apart from mainstream Market Makers is a very good thing. What most retail traders don't understand is that the majority of brokers use a price algorithm that keeps highs and lows in check ( or they can flip it to go outside those ranges when needed ). This keeps scalpers away during slow times and helps them find or avoid stops during most other times. Also, raw or true interbank prices are much more volatile than retail broker prices. All of this said, I haven't found a reason to question aleccohFX prices...

I'm not here to advise which broker to join, just trying to explain some basic misunderstood facts about brokers and prices. As a further disclaimer: I have a current IB relationship with aleccohFX, BUT I will be the first "horn blower" if I notice any problems. I don't have a problem openly complaining about brokers. ( again read my threads )...

aleccohFx is pleased to announce the end of its probation period on all accounts.

From Now on, all accounts opened under aleccohFx will be funded with Wires Transfers Directly to aleccohFx Firm instead of Mr Alexandre Habib Personal Account Since the Probation Period on aleccohFx is now Over and aleccohFx is now able to receive funds Directly as a well established Brokerage Firm.

All Accounts will be held in Switzerland As Stated on the Web Site and on numerous thread but MUST pass By the Bank's Head Office in Beirut Lebanon since they are considered as International Trabsfers For Obvious anti Laundry and anti terrorism reasons (except if you are a Swiss Resident) in order to then be Rerouted to the Bank's Swiss Branch.

All Accounts Will then be held under Individual segregated accounts numbers in Switzerland, each number representing an account holders for the purpose of protecting all funds from being altered with.

Yes we offer Microlots. This is how it goes.
If you open a standard account and trade 1 lot of EURUSD , each pip will represent 10$
If you open a standard account and trade 0.1 Lot of EURUSD , each pip will represent 1$
If you open a Mini account and trade 1 lot of EURUSD , each pip will represent 1$
If you open a Mini account and trade 0.1 lot of EURUSD , each pip will represent 0.1 $ ( or microlots)

We are in the process of implementing the 0.01 lots on Mini accounts so if you trade 0.01 lot of EURUSD, each pip represents 0.01 $ (nanolots)

As Usual you are right BUT you must understand this. The Swap free accounts have been initially introduces for Muslim traders who's religious beliefs Forbid them to pay or Receive Interest (Swap)
Now , In order to fully hedge someone's position in GBP/JPY , many traders unofficially used such accounts to do so. This is called in 99.99% of Brokers that offer swap free accounts : abuse and is treated as such (closing of all positions, Black listing, etc...)
Now the difference with aleccohFx is that we permit OFFICIALLY all traders, whatever the religion is , To do IT OFFICIALLY in return for a 5$ per lot per day rollover fee.

aleccoh, I appreciate the reply. I'm well aware of pip-values, btw. However, your website clearly states that 0.01 lot trading on standard accounts is permitted which is misleading and should be changed imo.

The reason I'm pursuing this is that I have opened a standard account with you, partly in the belief that I would be able to work with 0.01 lot sizes for EA-testing purposes. I was already informed by your support team that this was not possible and I would have to open a mini account, which entails going through the entire application process again - inconvenient to say the least...

Finally, as I suggested in my preceding post, details of the exact swap interest offered on the various pairs is missing from your site. As you know, these can vary considerably between brokers so most would consider its availability mandatory.

I appreciate the info. on interest-free accounts. One question. Is this $5-per-day charge per full-lot size, $0.5 per mini-lot (0.1) and $0.05 per micro/nano-lot (0.01)? Thanks.

Aleccho, please update when you have GBP account, also why not have 1 standard account where we can choose what lot size we want? I don't understand mini and standard accounts, CMS does 400:1 with universal account, they don't have mt4 thats why I'm looking for MT broker otherwise I'd be happy with my cms live account.

Yes , It is Stated 0.01 lots on our site and Yes you are right , We do not trade 0.01 lots at the moment but are in the process of instituting it.
