As simba mentioned, common sense is missing here:
xpie traded with aleccoh and came to the conclusion:
- aleccoh is averaging using a martingale progression
- aleccoh denied (of course) and explained about some new rocket science technic : hedge and hedge again

finally:
i got a statement from one of the guys who had the guts of opening accounts with ibfx and giving aleccoh the password. (i promissed him not to put his statement to public)

i fast realized that :
1- it is a flavor of martingale (what aleccoh calls averaging) because it sounds better on the ears.
2- he is hedging the 1st martingale with another martingale

245 pips were generated in 4 days and this calculation is as follows:
1st position = 0.01
2nd position = 0.02
3rd pistion = 0.04
then i saw all the 3 closed at a profit of 0.12 usd
and aleccoh will publish it as 12 pips here
the third position was a winner and the 1st and the 2nd were loosers

so the reward here was 1 winner to 2 loosers

i calucalted the winning rate over a month and it was 4.57%

all this fuss is for 4.57% where aleccoh will be talking 30% of it

My advise to you all fellow trader to go on the public forum choose a good martingale ea and hedge yourself and spare your 30% comission

By daring simba to open a 50000 k account you confirmed the following:

- you are using martingale , you need a high leveraged account in order to take your floating positions.
- who will risk a penny with a falcifier like you
you invented nickname for traders that does not exist, i went on every and each forum and none of the traders is there !!!!!!

you are a crook , a falcifier, that is using a martingale ea to trade the accounts of beginers..............

A last call for every conscience person who traded with Aleccoh , post your statements here to proove my point.

whoever is right or wrong doesn't matter. everyone has their own trade secrets which may be revealed once posting your statements. however, the least you could do probably is to strike out the bought/sold and closing prices and just leave the date and time of opening and closing of the trades?

the other important thing is the risk to reward ratio. i think most of us here would have tested a martingale system 1 way or another with a final conclusion that you may eventually end up being a winner but at what cost? it's definitely very risky to have a drawdown of 300-500 pips or more only to gain 200. so what is this ratio?

don't get me wrong. am quite impressed with the returns from the system/strategy you have but needs the above answered before i can go another step further. there are so many ways of trading in forex and i need to know which way is yours.

if you make the calculation :
total closed trades = 14.21 usd
and not 14.18 usd

i compared the statement posted by his complice with the one given to me by one of the people who traded with the crook. No resemblence at all.

i came to the conclusion that he deleted the positions that could tell that he is using martingale.....

Its fine to use martingale. As long as the risk(margin exposure, calculated stop loss based on drawback) is controlled ... at the moment I can only limit the lot size to get a low drawdown like aleccoh did. Very tempting to increase the margin exposure. But seemed dangerous though.

Where are all these people that are getting screwed? I suppose aleccoh has disabled their TSD account so they can't post their negative comments? Who cares if it's Martingale? Can you make money long term with a martingale system? If so why don't you share your strategy here with us, this way you can really save all of these folks from aleccoh.
I'm sure he'll send you his birth certificate and family history along with all of the statements you need, i'm sure that would be very productive for him, better yet why not just send you his strategy and methods in detail?
Again, so far no negative comments from aleccoh's customers, all positive. He has obviously delivered what his customers expected. Keep up the good work!

Ok here is my take. Aleccoh is a money manager. Plain and simple. There are hundreds of them out there, all you have to do is search. Many people would be happy to manage your forex account. Some are honest, some are not...some are good traders, some are not. I believe that aleccoh is honest and a good trader.

I have a couple live accounts and let aleccoh trade one of them as a test. There was no funny business, nothing suspicious at all. I watched the trades open, I watched the price action, I watched the trades close. Period. Frankly, his system seems quite robust (also, I have seen martingale systems and this was no martingale system).

I have been trading for a long time and I have been a member of this forum from day 1. To be perfectly honest, in my live trading, my success has been modest. I work 50-60 hours a week to be sure that I can provide for my family. This doesn't leave me the amount of time that is necessary to fully dedicate to trading (those who truly make a living trading forex surely know the amount of time it takes). So trading is essentially a hobby for me. That said, if I have some risk capital, why would I not be open to considering a managed account? The trial I had with aleccoh, and the conversations we have had privately, has given me enough information to continue to work with him. I am not gullible, I understand that there are no guarantees in life, and certainly not in forex. But if I simply consider a managed account as an investment, I can sleep at night.

I have never disrespected anyone on this forum and I won't start now. So I will not dignify some of the posters in this thread with a direct response.

out of curiosity i ran the statement through MTReport4 analyzer and the swap ends up being 0.00 as it is reported in the statement. see attached image.

because there was no starting balance in the statement, the report shows 0% returned after 22 days. Deducting the floating loss of -.18 you end up with an equity of 14.00
