I've been a member on this forum here since early 2006...and I've read alot of posts and tried many strategies, and learned alot from other traders. I still do not consider myself a successful trader. But I am always searching, trying new things. In short, doing the best I can with what I have.

I have come to the conclusion I need a different approach...So when I saw this thread & checked it out, I decided to post my comments. Just like everyone else who posted, mainly the ones who want to take part in the test. Aleccoh has been very encouraging, and I am genuinely looking forward to this.

Seems most of the topics on this thread are either communications to Aleccoh, honest questions, or skepticism. That's ok, everyone is entitled to their opinion. So I thought I would express mine.

But your response to my post to Aleccoh is exactly the reason I have not posted here before!!

Sorry if you are skeptical, but it is not my problem. But I will probably refrain from posting again unless it is my acknowledgement of the results from my test. What a "not so warm welcome" for my first post. Guess I should have expected it.

Thank you MiniMe for being so encouraging to me! I appreciate it very much! I have read many of your posts before, and you are also one of the ones I have learned alot from. I could learn a lesson from you in sharing!

I have been told I am too "nice" before, but I am not as gullible as I may seem. I have experienced the same hard lessons and blown accounts that unfortunately so many others have. But we keep trying don't we? LOL! We keep on keepin' on!

Please , let me do my work , i have MY reasons why i trade the accounts here and i don't see myself helping other traders for nothing since I am doing the trading and getting too much in return : Trust , Thanks emails , Nice and warm PM's , and don't forget that at the end of the day , my commision on traded accounts ranges from 20% to 30% of the profits , I am also making money .

So in a word , I should pay them the difference , and this is something that a teacher of mine said .

Hello aleccoh and all other members/readers.
I am a real trading participant in this trading week and I don't mind to be listed here in your list of participants. Just do your trading work and we are to going to see how it works.
I've been relatively new to forex-tsd.com (since Feb. 2007) but a 'silent' reader since about 1st quarter 2006.
Questions/criticism must be allowed if not below the belt and they are answered as far as I can see it.
And the rest is a real test as always in life: just the doer might win not the bystander.
I decided for me to be part of the 'doers' in this week (actually aleccoh is the real doer in my account). We all know that there is an inherent risk in trading. If you don't like/want it just don't trade and do something else. Nobody forces you to trade.

i'd like to acknowledge that all trades for the first and second week of trading are closed resulting in 200 pips or more for each trader with no pending or floating positions , in a period of time between 69 hours to 8 Forex opened Days

The disparity in timing to achieve the 200 pips goal is due to "No connection" problems with there relative brokers , Spread widening and frequent requotes and small initial balances wich led us to very cautious and safe trading.
