The more of our deposits they are not obliged to return, the better for them - afterall, most brokers end up 'legitimately' keeping it anyway! But hey, your money, your decision...

Not sure what you mean by 'on top of'... The email I got consisted of simply the jpeg I posted - no additional info whatever...

The Lebanon bank. I should point out that I was not the Aleccoh 'list', so never received any info about the 'meltdown' etc. - although that was probably out of vindictiveness, as I emailed him personally and never got a response either! I'm sure everyone will be contacted though - they only started emailing yesterday. Whether or not anyone gets any money, now that's a whole different story! Think happy thoughts...

I´ve sent my money via E-gold and I have received the jpg. My questions are: Will I receive my money via e-gold? (probably not cuz spacevision dont have e-gold option).
Will I receive my money via bank wire if I deposited by e-gold? (Maybe one more excuse to spacevision dont pay my money back?).

For all of us that are hoping to get our money out of this mess - I have some bad news.

As I said before, I replied to the letter and said that I wanted to continue trading. I also told them that I wanted to deposit more money (!!!) and asked them if they had a minimum amount required for bank transfer!!! Now, you would think that if these bastards were at all legitimate, or even smart theives, they would respond to my question immediately and give me all the bank details as to where to send my money! Ha! I haven't heard anything from them in 2 days. I emailed again yesterday with a read reciept request and I still have gotten nothing.

Needless to say, they have completely failed my test to see if anything has changed. There is no way in hell I am going to business with them! I am sending them another email telling them that I have changed my mind, but I don't think that it is going to do a damn bit of good.

My fellow traders, if I have offered to GIVE them money and I get no response, what are the chances of anybody GETTING money from them?

This letter they sent is probably just another ploy to buy themselves more time.

You seem pretty fluid in your emotions - just a day or so ago you were all for giving this 'unknown' entity a chance as your broker! If you have done any research on Spacevision, you should know that feedback has been overwhelmingly negative. In this thread alone there are numerous testaments to this effect. Whereas I definitely no longer trust Aleccoh, I do believe what he says about Spacevision, if only 'cos they screwed him financially as well...

I have also emailed them and received no response, but as they say "que sera, sera..." - it's early days, many haven't even been contacted yet...

Thanks for the complement, I strive to keep my emotions under control as much as possible.

My hope was that perhaps Spacevision had been reorganized and put under new management. That is why I decided to play along for a bit to see what would happen since I did not have any other detailed information that I could trust. I treated this like I strive to treat all my longer term position trades: I place the trade... if it goes in my favor within a specified time frame - I keep it, if it goes against me - I get out and take my loss. I try not to "fall in love" with any of my trades. I don't want to be quickly scared or happy and greedy. So I just treated this latest Spacevision hoax as another trade. I gave it a chance, and now I'm out (and none the worse for it).
