I'm curious to know if there are any "big account holders" (Aleccohs' words) following this thread and can confirm that they actually were contacted to vote on a 80% settlement?
Also I would like to know what are the rights of "big account holders" about decisions regarding my own money. Why AFX did not ask every client if he agree to receive 80% of his account or not ? Of course I would !
About the fact that AFX cannot know the state of each account since "MT4 Manager" was no more available, this is once more a total BS as Mr. Habib has send us himself our logins and passwords. He know them. What's the problem to open any terminal with our login ?
We have opened an account at AleccohFX; AleccohFX is still the only one company responsable to honor the withdrawal of our funds.
Based on what people have written here, do you actually believe that you have a valid customer relationship with AleccohFX (the company)? Do you have valid contracts with them? Do you have any papers that prove that they actually owe you something or hold your funds? Did you wire the money after or before the named company was founded? Did you wire the funds to personal bank account or company bank account?
I find it very odd that people wire money to personal bank account in distant country without doing the proper paperwork.
To Mr. Aleccoh,
I am unfortunately an account holder with you as well, but have'nt recieved any info concerning the proceedings that are presumely taking place. I have emailed you twice to the link you supplied in your post informing account holders that this information had been sent out, but to date have recieved nothing. My account # is 60254.
Can any other account holder confirm or deny whether or not they have recieved this info.

It may be trivial to you, but this type of research would be beyond me, and I expect most people. I tried in earnest to find a connection between Aleccohfx and Spacevision before opening an account but found none - even though one obviously existed. So I guess I must admit to not being as saavy as you, and leave it at that...
What I meant that someone said that there were no written contracts before they wired their money, not any heavy DD.
I have no idea if the abpve was a normal prcedure of all people who traded with aleccohfx or just some random comment on this site.
Apologies, my misunderstanding. Personally, I contacted Allecohfx and was told that there was no requirement to mail physical signed documents - emailing scanned documents was fine in other words. There was an actual mailing address as well though. It was not until months later, and just before this 'incident' that Aleccohfx again contacted us, stating that a completely new set of documents must be re-submitted in order to conform with Swiss law.
This obviously suggests that Aleccohfx was never a legal company to begin with, but apart from the 'accepting scanned documents' irregularity (Ameritrade or InteractiveBrokers would not accept this - the two brokers I have had past/current dealings with), there were no other 'tip-offs' - until after you had opened the actual account! Then, personally, nothing seemed to add up - which is why after a few months I withdrew most of my deposit...

I had a trace of Spacevision, look at this internal mail from 2007.11.13 signed Spacevision.
The next one (2007.11.26) is signed AFX. After that, they don't have any signature.
