By the way ..alex...if that is his name did a fine job of damaging his own relationship...WITH HIS ACTIONS..There is not any other interpretation...pass judgment you say...I say poppycock...even if 100% of the Funds are recovered and returned...I would never trust the Judgment of Mr alex...
How many thousands of dollars has he lost the trading community? He stated he wanted to be the "traders" broker...well if he cannot take the heat then get out of the kitchen....would you like me to go back in the posts here and embarrass you with his forward statements about how he "cared"? If he "cared" why would he get involved with the likes of Spacevision (some claim he even denied it..so he was embarrassed or hiding it?)

This is the first I am weighing in, but as a customer of AFX, I think I need to speak up for the integrity of Alex Habib. You guys are calling him a crook and more and I think that's over the top. Granted, his actions were less than prudent with my funds, but he has taken a big hit himself in order to make this right and I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. He is a victim just like us. I was thinking of something a little stronger, but, alright, I'll settle for that; You are NAIVE! But if you give him any more money I will reserve the right to substitute it with something more appropriate.
Today some posts where reported, not for the content, suspicious or accusations or whatever, just because the language, the words used.
Somebody get an infraction for this.
This thread is very important and nobody wants to edit posts.
But avoiding this is very easy, just write in civilized language and try to find another words if you want to blame or say something to somebody, there are many alternatives.
Sometimes we could think that we win something by using not "widely approved words" to attack somebody or say something but in fact this plays against us. The affected person (involved or just another common reader) reports the posts and this is the end of the history.

I do not say here that Alexandre Habib is a swindler, but I must remember to you that the fact for a swindler to be himself crooked and to be himself a victim is a very common and traditional way to go out of his own swindle without generating any suspicion. I Remember an old movie with R. Redford who have build a totally false horse-bet brokerage company...

maxpunt, I don't want to be seen as overly critical of your opinion (though it appears a few others got there first...) but imo, the facts are overwhelming - at best Aleccoh is incompetent, at worst, well, you get the picture...
There is almost nobody here disputing the fact that Aleccoh appears to be sincere - and he may very well be - but few would question the notion that the best con-men in history became so by becoming expert in gaining other peoples trust, and the very first rung of that ladder begins with feigning sincerity!
At this stage, I reckon many would categorise me as being overly critical regarding Aleccoh's motives, perhaps correctly, but it did not start out this way - I bought into his rhetoric like all the rest, why else would I have opened an account? - but everything I post here is what I sincerely believe and I would be grateful maxpunt, if you could point out a single provable instance of anything I have posted here that could be shown to be mis-information.
A brief summary as to where some of this negativity may be coming from may be in order - and remember, all of this is already documented in this thread, but feel free to correct anything you may think is untrue!
Anyone even remotely familiar with this thread will no doubt recall the venom with which Aleccoh attacked "scalping", doing his utmost to indoctrinate newbies into believing it to be an "illegal" form of trading - that is, right up until he decided there might be money to be made with it, the illegalities were then forgotten and he opened his own "scalping service" (a misnomer, as the stringent restrictions imposed removed any aspect of "scalping", imo). When this ploy failed (people were making money at his expense) and traders were being 'sin-binned' in droves, his next act was to try and perpetuate the notion that this was a result of a refusal to follow the scalping restrictions - only to eventually admit on overwhelming evidence and after constant denials that yes, there were indeed traders being black-listed because they were profitable. His then withdrawal of the service and putting the blame entirely on his LP, came as little surprise to many! Also, Aleccoh is on record as repeatedly classifying NewsTrading as "not real trading" - again, right up until he thought there was money to be made, wherein the Aleccohfx NewsTrading Service was born...
Anyway, what I take from all this is that Aleccoh's only constistency has been his in-consistency throughout this entire thread! And finally, let's not forget that Aleccoh had a life before entering the Brokerage business. And with his views on Scalping fresh in our minds, check out this earlier post by him - pretty revealing, and imo, far better reflects Aleccoh's true character...

Concerning the Law Suit Filed on the 19th of March 2008 :

The Case number is 4233/2008
A Prosecutor has been assigned to the criminal case and is Begining the preliminary Hearings as we speak.
This is Not a civil case, it is a Criminal one Since a Member of the Swiss regulating Body is involved in Funds embezelment.
Once again, it is a really weird case since -------.SA is the ONLY Swiss brokerage/Liquidity provider house with a Member from the Swiss regulatory Body in it and that led me to believe into the security of such a company and was part of my choice for choosing it in the first place (see Attachement)
I will of course keep the members of this forum briefed as things move along and The aleccohx account holders briefed in more details since i am representing each and every one of them in my law suit.

Would you mind clearing up the matter of timing here? You made Pellanda Fabio your president and admin in Nov. 2007. He was not an administor to Spacevision untill the bigining of March of this year, 2008. (this is based on governement records.) How could that effect your choice for going with Spacevision? Pellanda was not an administor at that time. He became an administrator only after you teamed up with Spacevision.

He was made the administrator and president of Aleccohfx arround 11-20-2007.
The address of Aleccohfx as mentioned is the same as Spacevisions but Aleccohfx aquired that address on 11-30-2007. Were as Spacevision was useing that address sence 5-23-2006. So it looks like Aleccohfx took on Spacevisions address.
Getting back to Pellanda Fabio who if you remember was registered as the president of Aleccohfx on 11-20-2007. He was later added as an administrator to the Spacevision board on 3-4-2008. (This month!!) remember this date.

i mean i feel sorry for both ends, account holders and aleccoh and i blame the guy whom aleccoh trusted
i am one who applied for a real account in mid of feb, and gladly they didnt approve my account as they were passing in a middle of a re-allocation as they posted.
well i do blame Mr A, on not being 100 % transparency in front of the account holder since the begening, he should have mentioned i was an IB or white label until XXX this date and now i am on my own,
so yeah there is some lack of information and some cloudy vision here, especially saying about moving to another place , no relation with space vision etc, so there were some lie
plus he mentioned about a new swiss regulation which i heard of it, and many other big reputated brokers have until end of 2009 to complete all the documention and regulations before they shut them down.
but what i dont understand if there is a new regulation as Mr A said since january 2008 why he didnt mention that to the account holder or to send them an awareness that pls keep small funds only and withdraw th emajor part until we finish all the new regualtion and get a new license or so.
Maybe he was relaxed that the new regulation will not touch him as he has registered the company name by one of the big guy in the swiss regualtion jury or team
Come on guys think of it, when u want to open a company in a foreigner place, sometime u put the company in the name of a local guy just as an image to help u finishing all the local documentation, ( AND DESPITE I AM NOT A REAL ACCOUNT HOLDER, SO I DONT HAVE ANY CLUE ABOUT THE FACT OF THE CASE) but this is what i feel, the guy who didnt invest a penny in the company is claiming that this company is for him just because his name is on it

thats why he raised a case against this company which this guy owns in order to split the money and the administration
and as the swiss regulation doenst allowed the one who trades to be the onwner he was forced to put another guy as well
i hope this issue will be solved as soon as possible and sorry for the crook who let u down and tried to steal the company
