Look at it this way. If the government over there finds say Spacevision guilty of what ever, AND they know that this company is in posession of money that is of someone else. Do you think the government is going to let them off so easy as to let them pay fines etc with money that is not theirs? You are not fileing any criminal sutes you should work with the government not lawers unless its the last option. Lets face it if a lawer is working on getting the money back they will take a cut of what is recovered. Let the government team over there know you are invalve in this, they may not have any information on any of you. And may be Aleccoh is trying to keep you from letting them know, as it may get him in deeper legal trouble. The only way you will know for sure what is going on is to get in touch and get informed. Its not costly use the net it almost free. If you dont get in touch with them I would bet your not going to get your money back. Dont let people keep you in the dark by feeding you a bunch of BS that will only benefit them.
For all it's worth...I do not need to win the arguement...I just need to get the money...I would have accepted 80%...but this is in general...I am not an account holder...and I will not become one now after what I have seen from Mr. A....

It's pretty obvious that the investors need to do something. Getting in touch with the authorities in this investigation would be the right course of action since the beginning of this fiasco.
This is the first I am weighing in, but as a customer of AFX, I think I need to speak up for the integrity of Alex Habib. You guys are calling him a crook and more and I think that's over the top. Granted, his actions were less than prudent with my funds, but he has taken a big hit himself in order to make this right and I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. He is a victim just like us. Even more so, since his reputation is being slandered here. Please let's not pile on here until the dust settles.
If you are not a customer of his, IMHO you do not have the right to pass judgment. I asked him directly what was happening long before he sent the bulk email and he told me everything. A crook does not do this.
I can assure you that I am confident that he is doing the right thing. Based on what I have seen, I don't feel the need to put my own hat into the ring with my own attorney. Call me naive, but I think this guy has a lot of integrity and I will continue as a customer with his company and I plan on adding more funds to my account as soon as this fiasco is resolved.
