Im pretty sure 200 pips challenge was not meant as "free lunch" or whatever you might call it. It was purely to show that they can make that much in certain amount of time. As far as money goes, i think you realize that most people gave Aleccoh team accounts with only few hundred $$ to play with. Im sure you didn't expect $2000 profit from $200 account..... I have yet to see any statements of any of the customers of Aleccoh trading team, and only one caliming it was garbage.
In the end im not sure it matters much anyways. Don't really care at this point how much fault is it of MR Aleccoh's but Aleccohfx has apparently turned into garbage bucket shop that he claimed it never would. I don't buy this new law excuse either as I don;'t think anyone in any free country can have their business taken over by a random unrelated person. Im pretty much done here as i don't have faith in him anymore and am not counting on Aleccoh USA to actually go live and offer what he claimed it would. Now im sure that there is no exception to MT4 brokers, they are all crooks to a greater or lesser degree. If they are not crooks yet, they will be in the future.

Maybe, but only a fraction of your account. After lawyer and other bills add up, there will be little for customers. All the crooks have to make some money you know. NFA just screwed over tons of customers whom they were supposed to protect. I know few people who have $$ stuck in FXLQ, feel really sorry for them. Its sad that it seemed that it was a very good broker with MT4 ECN. Great spread, good commision, no manipulation that they noticed. THey said it was day and night difference from IBFX.
I realize Mr. Aleccoh is busy but I hope he soon comes back and respond to the concerns raised, especially about the use of the virtual dealer plug-in by MT4 brokers.
I've been all set to open an account once the US office opens but now I'm having second thoughts.
Well having followed all Mr Aleccoh's instructions, I am just getting blanked by the Geneva office - no replies to emails to "roger", suggestions in two telephone conversations with their Geneva office that they cannot process refunds for funds that went though Beirut but will send appropriate forms and guess what, they don't arrive.
All just stalling tactics. Seeing as Mr Allecoh has suggested he will re-open for communications tomorrow, I will presume nothing and wait till then and see just what he has to say about resolving this fiasco.
Has anyone received ANY email communication from "roger"?

As far as i may know something about that, being a customer of an IB to FXLQ, it seems it could be ONLY a problem of NOT RESPECTING the REGULATIONS , but the Customers money is still there....and the Broker was running well just 1 minute BEFORE the Legal Warning....
The Lawyers Costs won't be anyway so GIGANTIC as we could be afraid of ( it is not a MARLBORO / COCA-COLA / McDO Trial ) , and FXLQ has some millions $ of own CASH ( not the Customers cash ) to pay with...

Forget about this scam. Aleccoh never had business with UBS. Aleccohfx is a broker simulation game. 200 pips = USD 2,00 (a real joke). He was just waiting to gather enough money... But he is very creative. He may come back with a new fantasy. Time will tell... Good luck in the future to all of you who believed his impossible promisses. Forex has a tremendous potential. You will recover from this fraud in the market. In the bottom of this thread there is a link to a very good FF discussion called "Technical Analysis Fallacy". Don't miss it. Thank you guys for the postings. I only got < 1000 stuck in there.....but it's still my hard earned money. Is forex brokers so unreliable? Isn't there any real good brokers for small time players? Seems like it's hard to find one.

I am trading with InterbankFX for almost 2 years now. First mini, now standard. No problems at all. Some time ago, used to freeze and widen spreads with annoying frequency. Now it is rare. Aleccoh shoots at InterbankFX. That is positive for InterbankFX. Good luck.

Quite a few 'reliable' posters on TSD that have been IBFX customers also claim it is one of the worst MT brokers... Personally, at this stage I think a 'good MT compatible broker' is a contrdiction in terms
