That happens with any broker doesn't it? Or thats my experience.
Your experience with whom? Practically every other brokers accounts do not expire, except perhaps if the account is inactive for a while. Not the case with any of the ones that died on me, and though Aleccoh has been decidedly vague on the issue, I think he is on record as saying that they should not expire...
Can't comment on that since i change demos like socks. From what i understand thou, most if not all brokers offer demos good upto 30 days. I had demo that doubled in i think 2 weeks or so. Not sure if it got shut down because I stopped using it since that EA wasn't tradable on live Aleccohfx or any broker for that matter.
Well, theoretically, all my demos are 'Aleccohfx compliant', though as recent event have shown, if it's profitable, it doesn't comply!
Let's hope the new feed ushers in a new era...
PS - The two brokers I demo with (WHC and NF) have no-expire accounts. I'm pretty sure that IBFX is the same. I guess I reckoned that at this stage, all brokers offer them. Maybe not...
The Demo accounts usualy "Die" after 30 days on 90% of brokers BUT since it is a need for you guys to have a Demo that Won't expire, i'll look into it with IT and Hopefully make it happen if it won't bottleneck my demo server.
To Zomg
Please adress your EA issue to ea@aleccohfx.com to see its logic together and make it compliant and profitable. If you Win, you are winning over the banks and NOT over us, so we will be glad to have you trading with us EVEN if you win (Specialy if you win since you will be trading more and giving us more rebates)

I was actually more interested in knowing exactly what Aleccohfx's position was regarding demo accounts - it is not specified on your site, and you failed to answer the question on the two previous occasions that I raised it!
Now that you have answered it, I will not be raising it again - so maybe answering the initial question directly would heve been the way to go...
PS - Hehe, I have just re-read your response and see that you actually still haven't answered my question directly - do you have a background in politics?
I was just saying that once you double your account size in trading, it seems that doubling it again is much harder to do for some reason. Actually it seems alot harder.

Well allecoh deleted all my demo accounts that I open with them, they hate any scalping or scalp EA's or anything that opens orders then closes them even if they all make a loss.
Anyone who opens an account here needs their head testing.
They even deleted some demo accounts that did not trade with them and only two days old. The first time it happened I emailed and asked why (a few weeks ago) I was told to just open a new account. Why would I want to do this?
