An observation. I have different brokers demos running, aleccoh, ibfx, velocity. This friday, only Aleccohfx demo wasn't frozen during those fat moves on multiple currencies while others were down for good 20+ mins. I know I know, demos are meaningles but like i said, its just an observation, nothing more.

I wasn't intending to put this post here, but what happened yesterday upset me so much and after I read your post, I wanted to warn other traders.

If you lose your connection, you may connect from another ISP, or go to an Internet cafe, or ask help from your neighbor...

It is not you, you are your enemy number 2!

Why?

Well let me tell you in the beginning that I have many live and demo accounts with lot of brokers using all kind of platforms. I have always a dozen of different platforms I monitor in the same time to avoid faling into price manipulation.

Because he not only manipulate the price, trades generally against you, but also may have his servers freeze for enough long time to see your balance blow, your trades triggered or your SL hit, and you can meanwhile do nothing!

Here's an example that just happened with me yesterday with one of the broker I deal with.

He got his servers freeze on both demo and live accounts (Intentionally???, not the first time!!) just before currencies new break (EU, UJ...) for more than 40 minutes!

Here are two snapshots:
1- Bad wrong data provided for 10 minutes, then a freeze for 40 minutes during the main price action.
2- After prices calmed down...

P.S. This is one of the best renown MT4 broker in the USA that says to have non dealing desk.

My advice: Chose carefully a broker that trades with you not against you!

Both have the same feed on aleccohfx and you have it on LIVE account as well WITHOUT freezing

My trading team is allowed to trade a client's account on the broker he chooses EXCEPT this one, NFA, CFTC regulated and a SCAMMER who freezes his servers to STEAL money simply and purely.

Aleccoh, are you still taking people under your wing and showing what you can do? I've pm'ed you but havent received an answer yet. I did open a account through your broker set up just getting to funding it. I do electronic banking with no local bank so a bit difficult to get a wire transfer at this point.
Would like to know more about your 200 pip program since the posts seem to be going well for what you have done already for people. Im a newbie but studying for the last few months, keeping my demo acct. at even trading the past couple of months. You have my email get back to me, talk later.

Just go ahead and fund the LIVE account because the difference between LIVE and DEMO is huge.

BEFORE trading, contact the support on MSN or yahoo and they will guide you through, no worries.

I hope you will enjoy the real trading as i enjoyed it for the past 21 years now

I can confirm the IBFX series of 1 minute bars that you posted. What? I'm doing nothing wrong...It happened! These sort of things do not effect me that much as I am a little longer in duration on my trades, but if they are able to do this, what else do they do that I am unaware about?

These events are computer controlled through smoothing algorithm's that MT4 brokers can use. It is not a person sitting there ripping you off. It is a global event...I think that placing some accounts on a manual execution is breaking US law and this is another issue, not publicized much. All I know... if anybody can compare notes and prove that their feed is being treated differently than the other clients, they have a case...

I must say that I am embarrassed to admit and realize that I do not understand the details of the other laws in the world about Dealers and their regulations,...Swiss...Lebonese...German...English ....etc...But those details must be different than the USA about disclosure...solicitation....etc.... (Mr Alleccoh is teaching me privatly and he has spent some time and patience with me) I was born and live in the USA and do not plan on leaving. I love the USA and its benefits and beauty. I have also lived in Sweden for 6 years as a resident....Wifey is Swedish, but we eventually returned to the USA. My point is..I am not completley naive to the world around me and have more of a right to speak on these matters than most Americans..as I have lived abroad and not just travelled as a tourist.

Anyways...anybody who is responsible for the millions of dollars that MR A...is...well they must know something about money and people...

IBFX, as you mentionned it, DID freeze the server for a couple of minutes, and that happens.......BUT for 45 minutes ????????????? has there been a nuclear explosion in the USA i am not aware of ?????????

This is pathetic behavior ES for a senior broker that happened more then once (read my other earlier threads and you will see)

I am spending time and effort on this forum to EXPOSE such shamefull ,behaviors as i promised and hope you will assist me as long as you have time to spare.

aleccohfx is a broker and i expect to be treated as one by YOU and all the others if you find any problems with its execution.

Lets keep it that way...

I think you are trying to play both sides of the street Mr. A and you are attempting the impossible. You cannot please everybody...You just can't especially when you are wearing two hats...dealer and trader....

Just my opinion....and you may not always be happy with my reviews. I have been a broker and hated it...it was just a glorified telemarketer...

My first love is trading and my lifes work is such...Traders first!

Be careful..there are some talented programmers that have agenda's and that are dragged into situations that may not be what they are all about. Many are discovering the two best ways to make money with their talents is to manage money or get a kickback off of ECN's...as IB's or other schemes to skirt recent US law.

I am struggling to stay pure and be all that I can be...Going commercial or being a dealer/broker/marketmaker is not for me...been there and done that. I enjoy writing on these boards until I discover the agenda's...then I grow sad and move on...Why can't talented traders and programmers stay in the traders club and quit selling out to market and vend....Where are the real traders?...that make money from trading? When they find something that works...they hide it...then they try to exploit it through sales...why not just trade it and share it....there are many ways to take money out of the market...

Mr. A. I have managed million dollar accounts...and the commissions alone could be staggering....I often wonder why you bother here in these forums...you obviously can trade and made it this far...why do you want the headache? Maybe you are a better man than I and have a "calling"...but really... making money (and keeping it) is what this business is all about...

You need to search your soul. This thing we call "trading"....This is the hardest endeaver you will ever attempt in your life. The quest to be consistently profitable and to compete with thousands of other traders is quite "the challenge".

How is your ego?....the market will hand you humbleness..

how are your tools... money is a tool...

Which dealer (s)...platform (s).....method (s).....remember their is no loyalty other than to make money...

Really you folks that "think" you are traders...you really need to identify your "calling"...and when you realize this is about making money and keeping it...then you will grow. have life outside of trading...but when you put your trading hat on ...make and preserve capital...this is why you have the hat on...put your ego aside and concentrate on what is important..

Good trading to all of you...I really mean that from the bottom of my heart...most of you will fail...but I commend you for trying...I am too stupid to get out of this game as I never give up...some of you have realized this is not for you and have moved on...some of you have even quit and revisited...I have blown up two times....

Your abilty to succeed is to be loyal to yourselves while playing the game...good observation skills...and a passion for trading...maybe a little stubborness and set your ego aside...Also find your relationship with God (there is only one)...and understand where the important things are.
