There are people who love to come here and invade the Forex-Tsd threads and post nothing but negativity. When they come to a thread they stick out like a sore thumb. I'm not talking about traders who have constructive criticism but rather I'm talking about people who do not know how to communicate with any positivity whatsoever. If you were to run into the same Negative individual over and over again in your own city where you live would you actually talk to them on the street knowing that your conversation is going to be nothing but negative? Probably not, I know that as general rule of thumb I simply walk away from those types of people. I would like to suggest for traders to simply AVOID NEGATIVE POSTS. If you avoid those types of comments then the positive flow of the thread has a better chance of continuing, but if you respond to these negative posters they love it because THEY FEED OFF of your replies that you give back to them from their criticism of you. These negative posters will always be here ie. there is no getting rid of negative people except to avoid them. So as a suggestion I would like for all Positive Minded Traders to continue to maintain the positiveness of this forum and let the negative posters live inside of their own negativity.

I actually didn't read this before I posted my proposal. I was asking for people to review my strategy. Maybe you will allow it? No problem if you remove the link to my site.

It has always been moderated to my knowledge, I have had numerous posts deleted when trying to warn others about scams. Hate to see this place turn into FF. The moderators need a little authority to get rid of the troublecausers but I think we need a little more free speech.

Some in here are complete scams from the beginning, anyone can see it, like threads offering millions in returns for $1000 ea's.
They should be deleted as it gives forum a bad name as scam havens.

I think it already has that reputation going on the current quality of martial on this site. Many obvious scams have been allowed to continue on and on.

I think the real problem is people come here looking for a free lunch, not to educate themselves on matters concerning automated trading, as such you end up with newbs clambering over each other to get the next grail, anybody who contradicts the fantasy is flamed. It's self perpetuating due to the nature of the subject matter unfortunately.

This poll was open for the vote for the very long time and I did "last call", "remider messages" and so on. But finally 68 voters/members only.
No one interested (in statistical point of view of course) and it is the fact already.

And it is always problems which threads should be deleted.
Because the members are talking like this: this guy is good and having good proposal. Why good? For whom? For his friends? And I should believe in that?
The other guy is not good because he made some advertising about $1B turning and we all are talking that this guy is not good because seems he does not have a friends who said that it is good

Just few sellers are following the rules here but basicly they are not selling EAs. That is my opinion.

If I delete almost all threads from this section so this section will be almost empty. What is the point to have the whole section for 3 commercial threads only?

I had proposal half a year ago to delete this commercial section completely from the forum but seems no one member seconded this proposal. I had proposal half a year ago to create training courses about how to sell. No one seconded.

And I agree with gpw797: members need more talking about it just to come to some conclusion not by 7 or 8 members (some of them are sellers as well).

More talking is more good. If more people vote so it will give the reason to admin to re-act.

I am having one proposal.

We have the following:

Sub-Forums : 'Non Related Discussions'.
and inside this subforum we have 'Commercial Trading Systems and indicators' section.

So we may have 3 sections inside this 'Non Related Discussions' subforum:
- Commercial Trading Systems and indicators.
already exist.
- 'Commercial Holy Grails'.
We have many commercial systems which may be identified as a grail so we need just to move some threads from commercial section to this commercial grail section.
- 'Public Holy Grails'.
I will move some public threads to this section which may be identified as a public grails (some systems where authors claimed big profit for very short period of time or some unrealistic in normal point of view but public ones). Anyway ... who knows ... may be someone will create some public system with 1000 pips for one week ... we never know right?

People will always look for grails, for perpetual motion ...
So, they may do it in their special section with public and commercial subject.

Forum will be cleaned from grails including commercial ones, and people will have a right to develop/sell them in special place on the forum.

What do you think?

Why in the world would a system administrator such as yourself, newdigital? allow the likes of Steinitz, a thread author of a commercial system to be a moderator?..then to make matters worse to be a moderator of his own commercial offering?

What purpose would this serve and how could this benefit tsd?

@newdigital - first time I've even seen this thread. I'd have voted had it been among the 'New Posts' - almost the only TSD menu item I click-on. Voting is closed now though...

@all - I knew Steinz had moderator rights at FF (initially) which I considered fcuked-up, but as that also seems to describe 'Merlin' who bans people for the most ridiculous sh*t, I wasn't surprised.

But moderator-rights here!!! - I'm speechless...

Steinitz is not moderator and never had moderator.

Steinitz came to our forum from FF forum together with his friends.
And his enemies came to our forum from FF.
And Steinitz made his first public post on our forum and those 2 groups of people created battle on our forum and they are not stopping up to now.
This is my idea about everything around. Thiose 2 groups of people don't care aboput all the members of this forum. They care about their personal income only.

Most of the members of this forum are not members of any group. And i am not member of any group.
Those 2 groups of people are having very strong commercial interest to use our forum.
This is my vision of the problem.
