Technicals, fundamentals, or a combination of both?
I havea good entry indicator...I am just looking for analysis to tell me if the day has a better chance of being up or down.
VERY CAREFULLY!!!
I am a technical trader, i try to stay away from fundamentals but keep my eyes open for big news. I use a breakout strategy combined with a few indicators to let me know the general direction. What are you using for entry? PM me if you don't want to discuss openly.

What do you use? Candles, Waves, Alder's rays, William's indicarors in your technical work. ???
There is an indicator developed by member"increase" called "trendtestwindow"
...do a search for it to find it because I don't remember where I found it.
I use settings of 5 and 9 instead of default 144 and 169...this is pretty accurate on 1 and 4 hr charts but can be used on 5 or 15 min charts at key support/resistance levels also.
Rick,
Sorry, I forgot to reply to the pm regarding the use of the indicator.
Looks like it is a moving average crossover indicator. Seems to give a lot of good signals and some bad signals.
I think any indicator or a two that one is comfortable with is ok to use with the forecast.
The best way to use moving averages is the way FXIGOR uses it or the way Kolachi uses it. They do not use crossovers. Crossovers give late signals and do not work well in ranging markets.
They look at the angle of the slower moving average and the change in the angle of the faster moving avarage.
