Riffster, your solution is probably best determined by what you're trying to achieve. I find that Optimu can entirely meet my needs and I hope he's available for a long time to come.
My EA's aren't exotic, top secret or intended for re-sale. They are basic, proven trading techniques that I want to run around the clock. If your needs are similar, I believe you'll be very pleased with Optimu's pricing, delivery and customer service.
If you've got a large, high-end project like El Cid's and expect to re-sell your product, then maybe you should discuss an overview of that with Optimu and see if you can reach a meeting of the minds. Maybe you can, maybe you can't.
I'm as critical as about anybody on this forum when it comes to the bullshit offerings found in the Commercial Section. Like El Cid, I've helped kill more than a few threads that were scams. But the flip side is that when we DO find something of value - we should be as equally eager to point that out. And that's why I'm a fan of Optimu.
Since THIS IS Optimu's thread and he's gotten several good recommendations, I think it's worth sending him an email to see if he can help you achieve what you're looking for. Only you can make that final determination. But at a minimum, he would probably be a good place to start.

I'm very impressed with Optimu. I hope to use his skills again. Work was finished in record time, kept in contact with me and from what I can tell top notch job on the coding.
I am using two programmers at present and I am finding the service is very slow and the price is cheap.
Most of your jobs are probably very simple and if you had dynamic market condition EAS ,you may very well struggle to get quick service for EAS that are not hack jobs
Infact one of the programmers is doing a great job for me ,but my standards are very high..............the other highly acclaimed programmer has dissapeared without informing me
I have 6 great eas for coding but looks like it is going to years here

There are two areas of concern in dealing with your company.
You wish to own the source code .You also charge VAT and therefore outprice yourself.
It suits me better to have an official invoice .If I am paying high prices for coding ,I don't expect you to ask me not to divulge source code or for you to have ownership.
You will receive the source code; however the code is copyrighted by MQL Service. It means that you cannot distribute the source code, but you are allowed to distribute a compiled version. If you wish to hire another programmer to work on the source code, please contact us first
I can not stop you from distributing my EAS to your friends and for your personal use ...so these uses are bonuses for you .Infact the price of your work is far cheaper than cost of buying my systems in the form of an EA.My EAS would cost you $1,000 to buy which you get free use of,on top of that you want ownership of the copy right.Good luck

1. The VAT is charging the country where I'm living. Not me.
2. Examples of my code can be found in the download section of my site. I cannot send you any work I made for my clients. It should be obvious.
3. You cannot imagine to own copyrights on software for 50 Euro/h, do you?
If you wish copyrights than a different price label will apply. It can be negotiated.
4. I'm not interested of getting your 1k$ systems for free. My company is registered in The Netherlands (the registration number is on my site), therefore you have all means the law gives you. If the law is not enough, please change the law
5. You assumption that I would distribute your EAs to friends, whatever, putting my company in the mud, is at least childish. Good luck to you too.

I have two jobs being done by Kalenzo .I will let you know the quality of service I get.I paid him the price he asked for and he has not asked for copyright ownership
I have jobs with another coder whose work is taking time but I will give a feedback on him too.
If a coder gets paid for his time in full, and the Ea is a failure due to the trader's input which can be crap, the programmers do not want ownership...............but they are looking for the great EA which could earn a fortune in EA sales?
